Hassan Haskins STATS 2021 ATT YDS AVG TD LNG REC YDS AVG TD LNG FUM LST 270 1,327 4.9 20 62 18 131 7.3 0 20 0 0 Looks like quality to me Weaknesses Lacking desired burst through the line. Needs to play faster and with more decisiveness as a pro. Segmented running style lacks creativity. Will get what is blocked as an inside runner. Lateral jump cuts are telegraphed. Running style absorbs heavy contact and collisions. Below-average elusiveness in space after the catch. Technique lacking to keep blitzer in front of him.

Sooner or later we have to stop cloning Joshua Kelley and draft earlier for quality. Maybe just choose better. Drafting a RB with a high pick is usually a wasted pick, especially so when you have traded away your 2nd round pick. There is always quality in the mid-round to undrafted ranks for the most fungible position in the NFL every single year. Get the right guy. Staley said he didn't like the FA RB group this year, and wanted value in the draft. Maybe he and his team can actually draft a mid-round RB.

POSITIVES — Good height and size for the position. — Runs with good tempo and patience. — Very good in pass protection. Shows understanding of his responsibilities and is a willing blocker. — Above-average lateral quickness. — Competitive and tough player. Runs hard and brings effort on every play. — Good hands when working out of the backfield. NEGATIVES — Average burst and long speed when working through the hole. — Runs high with a narrow base and can get tripped up easily. To me close to 1400 yds rushing and 20 td's would do fine as a rotational back in our system. One does not find perfect "Belle Cow" in the 4th round

I was curious what you all think, will any player drafted this next draft after the 5th round make the roster?
It seems that plenty of you think this roster is really pretty good, which would infer that anyone drafted in the 6th or 7th round might be quite challenged to make the club.

Most of the starters are set but those backup spots as well as special teams have openings that some of the lower draft picks as well as UDFA might fight for spots as well as any practice squad spots.

I do not see any reason why round 6/7 picks cannot make the roster as added depth and play on returns or developmental players on the practice squad. I would not be surprised to see a RB make the team drafted in this spot.

When I look at the currently listed roster, I see plenty of players that seem vulnerable......which of course is the problem, the talent in the depth is not great. This draft will be interesting, even more so in rds 6 and 7.......

It will not surprise me to see plenty of change in the depth......

Its a complicated question, which is good. 5th round is a big cutoff in percentage. About 75% of them at least make PRACTICE SQUAD in their first year. 6th and 7th rounders the percentages really drop off. Now that is first year, and not our problem. Our problem is thereafter. They just don't stick for us.

So I would disagree with your belief it is not a problem....it clearly is. * I don't care about the 'practice squad'.....this is about making the roster, being on the sidelines on game days ready to play.

I said AT LEAST practice squad. So that is active roster + practice squad. I haven't seen percentages for roster only. Sorry.

How much return has each team gotten from its draft capital, though? We can answer that by calculating the percentage of total CarAV in each draft class that was produced by each player. Add up all those values for the players a team drafted, and then you have the total draft return for that team (and year). Note that this is not relative to how much draft capital the team had (that step comes next), but is relative to the overall quality of the year being looked at.
The chart was for ten years. 2010-2019. The Chargers were next to last on the chart..........
