For a 2 down DT ? Or are we fantasizing that we will by miracle turn him into 3 down ? Top DTs make their impact on 1st & 2nd, force 3rd & longs. It's worth noting that he was among the fastest, most explosive DTs at the combine. Of course LT, who loves the pick for us is just a TV personality.

For a 2 down DT ? Or are we fantasizing that we will by miracle turn him into 3 down ? The dude just ran the fastest 40 time for a big man ever at the combine. He is working on his conditioning and has proclaimed that anyone who drafts him is getting a 3 down terror. 6'6" and 340lbs putting up a 4.78 in unheard of. If he makes it to us we better grab him quick. Living 30 minutes from UGA, I watch all of their games and the local sports radio follows them 24/7. The man is unique.

I love his talent. But you better weigh that 2 down versus 3 down stuff. It's important. The good news is 2 down guys are cheaper at contract time. LOL

I have never seen Bulldog country stump for a defensive player like that. Offenses will have to plan for him. Davis knows all about the pay differences between two down DTs and three down ones. He’s no dummy and he will want to get paid. Finally, we need a player with a legit nickname, enough with all the lame ones.
