Maybe no one has been on the edge of their seat waiting for this, but with only one week to go here is my official prediction for the Chargers first round pick: Zion Johnson, offensive Guard Boston College Notes: - There are other players I'd prefer but I expect them to be gone; there's the consensus top 10 or 12 picks, but Jameson Williams, Jordan Davis, Charles Cross and Derek Stingley are players mocked to the Bolts that in reality will be long gone.
- I would take Zion over the next tier of CBs (even McDuffie), WRs (even Olave) and Tackles (especially Penning!)
- This pick may not be #17
 - How can you not like someone named ZION??

4 WR’s!! Could sdc have the predraft bold prediction nailed??? Still a way to go. He almost dropped to us. At around pick 11 I knew we had to fade the Ravens. When the Eagles hopped over them to get Davis I knew that he wasn’t going to fall to us. That being said, I’m pleased with the Zion pick. Dude has a little junkyard dog in him.

You don't like Ekeler? TT better find a ILB.....and a ROT I love Ekeler, but if we want to be true contenders and make a deep playoff push he needs REAL help... Our current carousel of backup RB's do not cut it. Ah, I see...... I think there will be bigger needs addressed before RB.

Freak, don’t freak out … but,
It looks like the Chargers are looking to roll with Pipkins at RT. If he can continue to improve surrounded by the talent from LT to RG, it might just work. 😉

TT would have needed to go up and get him......he simply wasn't falling to 17. Love the OL pick.....maybe there will be a reasonable run game this next season.
