Freak, don’t freak out … but, It looks like the Chargers are looking to roll with Pipkins at RT. If he can continue to improve surrounded by the talent from LT to RG, it might just work. 😉

Guard. Freak .. I thought you said guards are late rounders?? You saw there were only 3 guards taken in the first round, second half of the first round. 15th, 17th, and 29th (was a surprise). I never said they were late rounders. I did say you can find them in the 3rd round, because you can. If you want more proof of value, go look at their salaries. Always follow the money.

I hate to make you guys think, but..............How do you know Zion isn't the next right tackle ? He played every position in college.

My hope was McDuffie but helping solidify the OL with one of the 2 best Guard prospects (Green being the other) is not something I can be upset about. Did you see McDuffie went TO KANSAS CITY ?!?!?!?!?! OH I CURSE YOU KC !!!!!!

A year ago, the Chargers hit a home run with Rashawn Slater. L.A. might have duplicated that selection with the burly Johnson, whose girth, power and intangibles made him one of the safer prospects in this draft. Whether at guard or center — Johnson can play both — the Chargers got tougher up front and accomplished their No. 1 goal of protecting the investment in Justin Herbert. Grade: A

I saw him on tv play Center. Do you know how many snaps he got there ? Somebody posted on twitter we could have traded back and still got Zion. How in hell do they know he's not gone by then ? I think the Chargers targeted him. Good for them for getting their guy.
