There were a lot of A's given in this article, but I am kinda surprised the Chargers got one. Even being a homer, I think a B is a fair grade (an A for the first round, but after Zion I wasn't sure our picks were the best of the available players.) Of course I semi-trust the Chargers decisions, and I absolutely welcome each rookie to the team and hope they become amazing Chargers! The Chiefs, much to my chagrin, had a great draft! But all that really means is that they took players who I had heard of and who were highly projected. Denver and Las Vegas didn't have high picks, but after a brief perusal my snap judgement is the Broncos did pretty good and the Raiders were just OK- per usual for both clubs! I like your analysis too. For us, its an A but I understand the B grade... JT Woods could very well be a reach, but I hope not. Other than Zion and Spiller I had to read about our picks, never heard of them.

You're projecting. If Pipkins / Norton are struggling / show no improvement their are 4-5 alternatives at RT. Let's see how it goes in training camp / preseason. Murray is in injury / surgery rehab. When he returns to action he'll have to beat out Staley's LAR transfer Troy Reeder who has started in Staley's D. Not projecting. Crosby destroyed Norton last year and Pipkins sucked. Go look up his PFF grade if you couldn’t tell. Dreaming forward is projecting. I’m using what has already happened.Exactly. On 1-9-22 Staley left Norton to go mano a mano with Crosby when he didn't have to. Not sure what that was about.
Regardless, it looks very unlikely that the starting RG - RT will be Schofield - Norton in the coming season.

Maybe he was trying to prove a point to TT... This has been unlike any offseason we've ever had under TT, I give some of that credit to Staley.

My bold take, just because... Turn Zander Horvath into a Linebacker.

I'm simply pointing out facts, not giving out premature awards to TT. I'm sure several factors went into play with this years roster overhaul, Staley being one of them.

2022 NFL Draft: Ten perfect rookie-team fits Published: May 02, 2022 Bucky Brooks NFL.com Analyst
…
Isaiah Spiller Texas A&M · RB Los Angeles Chargers Drafted: No. 123 overall (Round 4)
Despite coming off the board in the fourth round, Spiller could become an essential piece to the Chargers' offensive puzzle as a potential RB1. The Texas A&M standout is a dynamic runner with the size (6-0, 217 pounds), speed and big-play potential to occupy a lead role for a team that needs more pop from the running game. If Spiller is capable of handling the responsibilities of being the lead back, it would enable Austin Ekeler -- who is tied for 21st in the NFL in yards per carry (4.48) in the two seasons since he became the Bolts' top ball-carrier -- to reprise his role as a change-of-pace weapon in the rotation. With more diversity in the RB corps, the Chargers could attack opponents with a multi-faceted offense that alleviates some of the pressure on Justin Herbert and Co. to carry the load with the passing game.

I have been screaming for an RB. I think we have him. People don't realize if Spiller works out being good for us it changes the whole dynamic.

We are about to enter the longest 90 days of the NFL (off)season. We may have the occasional free agent signing somewhere, but news will be almost nil while rumor and especially opinion/propaganda dominate.
Everybody hang in there until preseason in August, and let's hope for an injury and crime free period for our team!
