2022 NFL Draft: Ten perfect rookie-team fits Published: May 02, 2022 Bucky Brooks NFL.com Analyst … Isaiah Spiller Texas A&M · RB Los Angeles Chargers Drafted: No. 123 overall (Round 4) Despite coming off the board in the fourth round, Spiller could become an essential piece to the Chargers' offensive puzzle as a potential RB1. The Texas A&M standout is a dynamic runner with the size (6-0, 217 pounds), speed and big-play potential to occupy a lead role for a team that needs more pop from the running game. If Spiller is capable of handling the responsibilities of being the lead back, it would enable Austin Ekeler -- who is tied for 21st in the NFL in yards per carry (4.48) in the two seasons since he became the Bolts' top ball-carrier -- to reprise his role as a change-of-pace weapon in the rotation. With more diversity in the RB corps, the Chargers could attack opponents with a multi-faceted offense that alleviates some of the pressure on Justin Herbert and Co. to carry the load with the passing game. * Interesting note: Ekeler is 4th in NFL at YAC as a receiver. YAC ATTACKER !!!! He's a slippery character out there !!!

DAMNNNNNNNNNN
He hasn’t been moved due to character issues or injury concerns. He just hasn’t found the right fit. He thought he found it with the Raiders but that didn’t last long. In a recent interview with Tyler Dunne, Ngakoue finally broke his silence on the trade and was quite blunt regarding his feeling about the Raiders.
“They’ll see how I feel when we play them,” Ngakoue told Dunne. “We go to their house. They’ll see why they f****d up.
“They’re going to have to pay. They’ll pay.”

Just watched the Jamaree presser. Man is that an exciting draft pick. High intelligence, clear drive, confidence with humility. Love it.

I am only seeing projections, not actual contract numbers, but they should be pretty darn accurate. You know what a 17th pick first rounder gets. His Cap number this year should be around 3 Mill which is chicken feed for a starting Guard. Because we are fancy now, we get that 5TH YEAR OPTION because he's a first rounder !!

More on Zion..........He went to his rookie camp UNSIGNED because he wanted to learn at camp. He's known for being a smart, fast learner. He played the left side last year in college, and wanted to learn all he could on the right side. He sounds like he adopted the oline coach. He says he knows the techniques that the coach taught him, he just wants to do what his coach says and compete for a starting job.
He has a great attitude, and we signed a young pro right out of the gate.
