I can see that. Pederson, they had high draft picks, and were really active in FA. A lot will depend on Trevor Lawrence’s speed of development in 2022. Unfortunately for him, 2021 was a lost year, but sometimes adversity can fuel growth. I THINK they improved the oline. It has to start there.

I am saying it now, Parham will have a huge season, and becomes a star player! He didn't like like that Everett signing. He felt he was the heir apparent for starting TE. Good for him for having the competitive spirit. He's having a great camp and he is forcing them to give him more playing time.

They said hamstring but this time of year who knows. They know how good he is so get others some playing time. That concussion still scares me and I am probably not alone. Protect him as much as possible.

All of this Staley and TT hate doesn't consider the Chargers norm......Spanos isn't making any changes as long as the club is competitive and generating a positive perception in the media.
To those swearing that if the Chargers do not make the PO's, both Staley and TT are fired, I ask one simple question.
If Herbert is lost for the season G2, the Chargers are not making the PO's. Is Staley and TT fired?

I think TT has a great job building starting teams in all three phases, and some hit or miss depth behind that. Staley is still in the honeymoon phase so he's safe outside of some exceptional Gruden-esque misfortunes. If the Chargers are not competitive through the playoffs, I can't see the primary blame being on the head coach or GM. The GM has done his job, it's now time for the coach to do his and have the team motivated and prepared to win each game. Then it will the player's burden to execute and do their part. SO I think TT is safe, and I don't see Staley failing to do his part. They are both safe. And for the record, I see the players on our team doing their part and doing it well so we shouldn't even be in a position to think about making changes! Playoff bound, and then some!!!
