So let me get this straight. To see how we really stack up against the Chiefs, let's not just see how closely we just played them. At their house. On a VERY short week. Rather, let's try to make some transitive property analysis of: how we did against a certain *other* team; and how that team did against a *different* certain *other* team; and how *that* other-other team did against the Chiefs. Makes perfect sense. Good grief. The Chiefs had a short week too When do the Chargers get to a point where they actually win these games? That's when fans will start believing in them. Right now it just looks like more of the same. We have to quit giving the "W's" back. LAC 31- KC 20 was a lock - until Herbert threw a pick 6 at the EZ in the closing seconds. Musta been the rib cartilage.

How much Bills gear do u think chopper31 has? I’m betting a lot. None actually. Side Note - the Goodyear Blimp was hovering above my house for a few minutes yesterday. Surely to see if there was anything to report on my fan free agency. So if there was something to report, you would have heard about it !

Nah, it was a tired TE who gave up on a route that he can never ever ever give up on. Why? We all saw the end result! Take an injury kneel down if you aren’t ready to go on a goal line play when they’re running hurry-up, don’t half-ass it.

At worst, it’s an incompletion if he doesn’t quit on the route or it’s down near the goal line with Everett’s body between the ball and the defender. The CB has his hips open to the sideline to cover the flat, so a sharp dig cut to the inside puts Everett’s body between the defender & the CB. BTW He wasn’t open on this route either.

He helped us in the raider game and he is going to help us this year. But calling it what it was he dogged it.

I see you guys want to blame Everett but the tank was empty. He got us down there with two consecutive catch and runs. He signaled that he wanted out of the game. But they chose to hurry up and he wasn’t ready to go. That’s not the guy to go to I. That situation. If you look at the all 22 no one was open so the hurry up got us nothing. Less than nothing. Negative 7 in fact. That’s where I lay the blame. Stupid situational football call. Whoever made it should be hung publicly at SoFi before the jags game Herbert tried to force a ball to him on a 3rd and 6 where he was also covered and McKitty was wide open.

Whoever made it should be hung publicly at SoFi before the jags game Herbert tried to force a ball to him on a 3rd and 6 where he was also covered and McKitty was wide open. It’s on the coach who didn’t recognize that Everett was gassed and went with a quick snap and Everett for not making an attempt even though he was gassed. If you can’t go and the coach doesn’t recognize it, then go down and stop the play. An end zone shot shows that Everett’s reaction to the INT wasn’t to chase the dude with the ball, but to search for and pick up his mouthpiece that had fallen out. The one guy that doesn’t share the blame in my opinion is the QB who was getting everybody lined up, calling the play, reading the defensive scheme, recognized that the dig route was there for the taking, and like dozens of other successful throws he’s made into the end zone not recognize that his TE was gassed and wasn’t going to run the route. No matter what his condition was and that the coach didn’t recognize that he was gassed after catching the prior two passes, you can’t give up on a route because the end result will be what we saw when all 11 defenders are within three yards of the line of scrimmage.

You’re right, Herbert should have recognized that Everett was going to give up on the route as he made the read that Everett should make the dig cut as they had no doubt practiced dozens of times over camp.
