BTW Kyzir is looking awfully good in Philly. Happy to see for him, but he would be a lot of help back in LA. With a 1 million dollar base salary.....................I never understood it............................ Kyzir was inexplicable especially when we are thin at the position. Chenna was more expensive but would have been money well spent to keep Mack and Bosa fresh or spell one in injury.

The Chargers’ FA strategy was at least curious at the time and often absurd in retrospect.

You have to be stout at all 3 levels.

You have to be stout at all 3 levels. That was indeed a very curious rationalization. But even if that were true (that LBs are less important because of DL/Edge and coverage strength), how in the world do you then say, “we’re good to go with a great but often-injured Edge (Bosa), one aging but probably still good or great Edge (Mack), and one barely adequate Edge backup (Rumph), and some mediocre safeties (Adderley, Gilman)?”

The Broncos defense is absolutely shutting down the Ravens offense.
Ravens and Jets losing today (and perhaps the Fins) will be very helpful, but only if the Chargers take care of business in Vegas.

Ravens escape, but Jets get stopped on three straight plays from the 1. Jets still have a chance.
