I was traveling yesterday and missed the game. Somebody summarize? Did Spiller play? Who burned JC Jackson? Was it repeated? I heard about the 4th quarter… How do we look for Cleveland? Injuries? Nice! On Salyer… I’ll address the first couple: Spiller was inactive. Staley said earlier in the week that when he beats out anyone ahead of him, he’ll be activated on game day. BTW Kelley looked very good on his carry attempts in the first half, and then didn’t have him carry at all in the second half while Michel proceeded to carry the ball about ten times for 20 yards in the second half. Why? 🤷♂️ The Texans young speed guy burned Jackson while also beating Adderley who it looked like was supposed to have over-the-top coverage. It looks like Adderley took a bad angle or was late getting there on the play. Adderley took bad angles on several plays, including the 75 yard TD run that he should have stopped for a less than 10 yard gain. |

Belichick made him an all pro. His replacement at NE is doing better than he is. They’ll blame Adderley on the long throw but JC is getting beat. He also couldn’t tackle #88. Overall, best first half in all 3 phases but another second half collapse saved only by an 84 yard drive with the game on the line |

I’m more willing to give Jackson a little more time to pull his head out of his rear orifice than Adderley. Jackson has practiced once over the past month - we’ll see if getting back into a normal season rhythm turns his play around or if he continues to play at his current level.
He needs to be operating at top gear for the Monday nighter against the Donkos in two weeks time!

It’s something more than that with Spiller. 🙄 How much pro set pass protection had Spiller done at Texas A&M? It appears to me that not getting Herbie killed is a wee bit more important than usual for the Chargers these days. It took Kelley 2+ seasons to get that down. Hopefully Spiller will turn out to be a quicker study. |

LG C2 OLED 65". Replaced a 10ish yo Panasonic 55" Viera Plasma. I've been on the plasma train for a long time, but that train don't run no more... Nice! I bet the game looked great on it. Everything I’ve seen on those C2s is excellent; I’ve heard they even use them for color grading on budget movies. I too was on the Panasonic Viera plasma train until recently. No other technology except OLED could get close, but until OLED pricing got more reasonable I just couldn’t justify it. Thankfully we have access to some great displays at much better prices than three years ago. I just hope we have many great games and wins to watch with our infinite contrast. Enjoy the LG! FWIW, I went from the Kuro Plasma to the LG OLED and have been very happy with the transition.
