I would say its because there are rookies involved. Adderley's back up is a rookie and Spiller is a rookie. Coaches don't like rookies getting a bunch of snaps if they can avoid it. You are welcome. Coaches like to win....... Nice caveat with the "if they can avoid it"......but what complete nonsense, just go ask Lynn about Herbert. That talent Lynn was starting in front of Herbert got healthy, never saw the field again.....but but but Herbert was a rookie! Like I said, your nonsense is just that...... Out of an abundance of kindness, while you attack me, I'll try to explain this to you. Why, beats the hell out of me. Herbert is a great example of what I am talking about. High first round draft pick and the team sat his rookie ass on the bench for YOUR favorite QB Taylor. You see hockey player, teams want rookies to learn the NFL as much as they can before upping their snaps. The Steelers drafted a first round QB. He was on the bench. The offense may be the worst in the league so Tomlin gave in and played Pickett. In a loss, he had multiple interceptions. Palmer last year, shoved down the depth chart because he was a rookie. Our running game is miserable. Where's Spiller ?? Rookie. That's where Spiller is at. Teams GREATLY fear rookie RB's fumbling. McRugby is worried about his pass protection. It takes most guys time to learn in the NFL. Adderley is not doing great, he is still out there. His backup is a rookie. Ball handling rookies get a leash, unless they have proven to the team they are special. Non-ball handling positions are actually expected to play if they are first round draftees. Zion is one. Salyer is starting, but no matter how good he looked in preseason it took Slater hurt and Norton sucking for the rookie to find the field. Ring the freaking bell. School's over.

Would just LOVE for a 6th rounder to finally launch for us. Texans is one thing, Myles Garrett is another. Big test for our big Rookie this week. I am proud of him to be a projected Guard in the NFL and starting at LT ?!?!?! I love a freak story.

I understand what you're saying, Frozen. But conversely, how many times have our players struggled against mediocre clubs? Too often! So in this case, we're seeing someone break that trend and it is worth complimenting. Nothing wrong with optimism. It's what we Charger fans eat as heartburn pills.

Hoping he has another dominant game.......and another.....and another.....etc

He's a 6th round rookie for heavens sake.

Vous devenez très doux, il est peut-être temps pour une exécution I just want the oline to execute. NOTE: This is the second attempt at a coup today. It's worth noting that it is from multiple countries as well. Like Putin, I laugh. You other countries are here for my amusement. Conquered you are; conquered you shall remain.

But it is being presented that the oline did well, it seems the problem lies elsewhere.....RB's and Lombardi are the top choices. You will never conquer the great white north.....

The OL can pass block well, which is, of course, top priority and not have close to as good run blocking. Hou was a solid game in both areas vs a mediocre opponent. Good on them. Let's see how it goes vs a tougher defense.
