Some see it earlier than others Some bitch and moan about everything. Some have a complete loser mentality while others have hard-ons for Staley, Telesco, and or Lombardi. There is so much confirmation bias going on that it's funny and sad at the same time. Others see the cup as half full all the time. If I tend to go in one direction, it's on the positive optimistic side. With that being said, please don't lump me in with the ones that are only truly happy when they are miserable. I will say that my investment level in this team is at its lowest since the Ryan Leaf days. I'm unwilling to let a pastime effect my happiness and this shit show is barely watchable at this point. Bottom line, this season hasn’t been much fun for us die hard Charger fans. Whether it’s injuries, play calling, coaching inadequacies or all of the above, the Chargers haven’t been a good entertainment value. Just a struggle. I actually did something I would almost never do in a close game and left the Denver game in the 4th quarter. It was like watching two punchless heavyweights hold onto each other round after round. Just boring

Are you talking about me being the first one to call for Sean Payton on this very forum ?? Will frozenspanos ever see it ?? You were also the one swinging from Kyle Van Noys' nut sack. Funny, you haven't brought up just how much he sucks. Looks like Belichick sold us two bills of goods huh ? Kenneth Murray needs to go.

For me everyone has been a disappointment with the exception of Mack and Joseph Day.

Just boring I've been one to give them passes due to the rash of injuries. But this is a heartless gutless team. They might show fight and grit for a quarter or one game out of 4 but that's about it. There is little fight in this dog. It's almost like they believe they won the division in the offseason. They are brutal to watch. Death by a 1000 pin pricks. They are satisfied with competing every week and then saying "Shucks we'll get them next time." Hell even Derek "Home Alone" Carr shows more fight and grit. I want to see Herbert get pissed off...at something....at anything. Looks like Keenan had it right with his WTF post earlier in the season.

But you can tell he is upset. He would be the strongest voice of change in the org. If he said Staley is not cutting it, get us Payton. They would look into Payton.

For me everyone has been a disappointment with the exception of Mack and Joseph Day. Palmer too. I have actually seen more from Murray in the last few weeks than I have since his rookie season. I bet a competent DC would play him to his skill set. He shouldn't play with caution. He needs to play with abandon, flying all over the field. He is not built to play contain. He needs to be a disruptive force. Give him to Dan Quinn and I bet he is a pro bowler. Damn, even the Raiders were able to find a pulse in that giant bag of shit named Jerry Tillery, Gerald Everett looks like Tarzan but plays like Jane. People were up Baluga's ass 24/7 but Linsley can't stay on the field. Eckler's fumble was a back breaker. Herbert is playing scared. Keenan looked pissed whenever the camera found him yesterday. It sucks feeling like you have been sold a bill of goods. I think he and everyone else bought Staley's cool-aid. The might not have agreed with everything but loved his balls to the wall approach especially following Lynn whose balls haven't even dropped yet. The is nothing creative about this team. The Chiefs show more creativity on offense in one week than we have the entire season. This team is a dumpster fire.

They will scrap the coordinators first. Someone needs to geld Staley and put bad ass coordinators on this team and tell him to stay the phuk out of their way. I don't think we have that guy in the front office. Maybe little Johnny Spanos but I doubt it.

I think your right, I think everyone stopped drinking the Kool Aid and I think Keenan Allen was the first to do so.

Either bring in a quality, experienced OC and DC or stick by your guys and you’re all gone.”

It doesn’t seem like they want it as bad as whomever they are playing each week

It's the Peter Principle. That exists everywhere. You get promoted for being great at a job but the new job requires a whole new skill set. I used to tell newly promoted GM's that the quickest way to get fired is to merely do what you did to get promoted. The rarer thing is the head coach that can win consistently with a revolving door of coordinators. Belicheck is the prime example. Andy Reid has had the same two coordinators for a long time. Many a HC has experienced great success as long as they had the right dudes one level down. I mentioned Dan Quinn. There are many others. Staley has only proven one thing so far. He is not capable of winning without elite coordinators. Your boy Payton had Drew Brees and premiere DC's during his run in NO. Take a look. Gregg Williams, Steve Spagnuola, Rob Ryan, and Dennis Allen. We have had two DC's (Wade Phillips and Gus Bradley in the past 20 years), and a bunch of tomato cans. Don't even get me started on OC's.

I'm going to go ahead and channel my inner NYBolt... Sooner or later they all come around.. But I think the Chargers beat the Dolphins, yup.. You heard right! I am predicting a win Sunday night for the bolts because that's exactly how they roll. That beings said, even if they lose out I think Staley is with this team at least one more year, I predict Payton will move on. He is going to want a lot of money, that's not the Spano's way.

I'm not debating you want good coordinators. Let me make this more concise: You posted Belichick, Andy Reid, and Sean Payton. Do you think Staley is ANY of those guys ?
