Playing for the Chargers is apparently the most dangerous job in football and the world. We’ve lost our first string guys, second string guys and now our third string practice squad guys IF J C was healthy we may be able to get him a work release pass.
The Owners have to have protections if he goes to jail for a long time?
I am sure it has to be a part of every contract. If you get incarcerated your contract is discretionary.

Sparse details and total speculation, but it’s likely that he was very late on child support payments. The court may be sending the guy who has just been paid 10 figures a message by booking him following the hearing. Getting booked tends (for most people) to get one’s attention that continuing down this path of behavior isn’t acceptable. We’ll find out more in the very near future. |
