1 more sleep until the questions begin to be answered. Does Herbert have another level to get to? Can Staley’s defense shut down a talented team on a roll? Who will step up for us? Tomorrow at this time we’ll either be talking about winning plays and how to beat the Chiefs or what went wrong against the Jags. It’s one and done time folks. Put up or shut up. Nobody will care about your team dinners or how connected you are if the Jags beat us again.
I’m counting on the defense tomorrow to show up big time. Stars have to play like stars. That’s Mack, Bosa and Derwin. Everybody’s gotta do their damn job and do it well. I’m predicting at least 2 big plays from Van Noy and a pick for Vato. Murray and Tranquil will shut down Ettiene. With Callahan back our secondary will shine. Hit Trevor, pressure Trevor never stop pursuing Trevor.
On Offense, I’m looking for an extra gear from Herbert. Run when the opportunity presents itself. Ekeler and Keenan must shine. Everett, Palmer, Parham and Carter need to be solid. And Josh Kelley fight for every yard.
Who wants it more?

This game will be a battle.....I like Herbert in battles. Lawrence will be solid, Staley needs to be creative in his approach, but the Chargers have to get after Lawrence. It is going to be close, as in real close....every single play will matter. Both clubs will have opportunities, make them remembered for how you won the game....not how it was lost.
I am in NYC for our game, but be assured, we will be keeping tabs on this game. GO CHARGERS!!

Before the season, I thought we’d have the best defense in the AFC. Tonight we are gonna need it. We’re missing some guys on the DL but everyone else is back and healthy. Statement game

I care... Absolutley... Beat the Jags 7 - 3 is a problem. I want us to advance with authority, not stumble through a victory against the Jags. We NEED to dominate them.
