I care... Absolutley... Beat the Jags 7 - 3 is a problem. I want us to advance with authority, not stumble through a victory against the Jags. We NEED to dominate them. So your saying if we win ugly the next 4 games and carry a Lombardi home with a 6-3 win over the 49ers. Take it back we don't want it because we won ugly?
Do you really think I'm saying that? Does anything in my post imply something as ridiculous as that? I'm saying an ugly win against the Jags will not fly against teams like the Bills or Chiefs, I'm saying we need to play like we belong. Yes, the NFL is all about match-ups but in the playoffs we need to get hot and dominate. I'm saying winning an ugly game will likely result in the next game being a fat L, just like it has our past 2 playoff wins.
If we eek through the playoffs and win a Superbowl that way so be it, but that is a BIG if and statistically unlikely.
We'll have to score points against the Chiefs, Bills, 49'ers, or Eagles and our defense will have to stop the run.
Just dominate...

Beating Jags 7-3 would be domination. Defensive domination. That works for me.
..Although holding them to 3 should mean more TOP and scoring by our O. Never the less, Ramp up the O next week. We earned another game to do it.

No it wouldn't... C'mon now... It would be an extremely ugly game with penalties and TO's all over the place. I'm all for win at whatever cost, but lets be realistic guys.
We got shredded 38-10 last time we met them, we are a completely different team in a different place now... All I want is for us to play like it...

We all want that, but its not the end game. I disagree that playing a weak game one week means playing as bad the next. The bolts vs KC is a good match up. the bolts could be seeing the AFCCG. They have a good shot. Its even better getting past Jags IMO. In the words of the immoral, "Just win baby".

I have thought about our lively conversation about winning ugly. I think we already do, and I think it’s by design too. Look at our winning streak. Play good defense, and let Dicker do the nails in the coffin. There’s nothing wrong with that, especially in the post season. Years back Rex Ryan went deep in the playoffs with that formula. We all bite our nails for 4 quarters but I swear it’s by design. You ask your Leader for proof, I say ask yourself our last 2 blowout games. Can’t think of them huh ?

Pittsburgh's last SB was just that. A scrappy team that played just good enough to get into the PO and they stayed that way all the way to hosting the trophy.
