its not the GM. Its the owner The ownership has made bad choices for sure, moving to LA was one of the biggest. I can remember when Spano’s brought in a guy to help find a coach years ago, I think he was a former packer staff guy. We have had a lot of great players, this year the ownership has dealt big salaries to guys that are busts. That’s the chance you take. It’s all about building a culture and let’s face it, the Chargers simply do not have one. The Rams did it, no reason why the Chargers can’t. I don’t know what the answer is, I’m sure Detroit wonders that too. Detroit is completely different. They don’t have enough talent and still won 9 games !!! The players would run through a brick wall for their HC. They need defense talent |

The lions haven’t won a playoff game in 31 years. Try that Anything less than a Super Bowl is not acceptable whether you’re a Charger fan or a Lions fan. I feel for Detroit because I know the struggle. One thing Detroit has over the bolts? Even with not being in a playoff game in 31 years? A real fan base. They go to the games, they are loud, they stand behind their team. The Chargers fill the Rams stadium with the opposing teams fans. This Charger organization has a lot of problems. Losing playoff games is just one of them. |

I think the score was 24-0 and the camera showed the Chargers' players on the sidelines smiling and laughing. They lost their edge and intensity with the lead and that's on Staley. That's when I became worried (more than usual as a Bolts fan). Then the second half happened.
Staley gets credit for getting the team through the season full of injuries and making the playoffs. But that doesn't matter when after William's injury and last night's collapse.
I'm done with Bosa too. He's brittle physically and emotionally.

Woke up this morning hoping to feel better. Nope, it still sucks.
I point my finger at the coaching staff. The bolts have consistently been out coached in the second half of games most of the season.

This team has no killer instinct and its on coaching... This is what happens when we get bargain basement rookie HC and coordinators.
Told you guys...
No excuse for the collapse, leaders did not show up and Staley was out-coached again.
If there are no changes to the coaching staff I'll be livid.
We need to focus on getting Herbert weapons in the draft. Keenan Allen is done and Mike Williams is made of glass and unreliable (as I've said for a long time).
Sucks guys...

It is starting to settle in that there may be some coaching changes but they will not include BS. I still feel broken inside and pissed off that I let some millionaires that could give two shits about me have such a profound effect on my emotional state. Like a moth that flies into a fire I will continue to follow and care for this team. The Justin Herbert rookie contract window is fast closing. Its ok my friend. Know that you are not alone in these feelings. It hurts of course, but the way they lost makes it so much worse. Time heals all wounds. We will follow the team, look for coaching changes, debate if it should happen and who. Then the draft. Then free agency. Then camps. In the mean time try to enjoy the postseason. After tonight, there will be 24 teams eliminated. The two weeks of Super Bowl is fun no matter what. It's peak of the league and what we all strive for. Bolt Up, and follow all that unfolds. Internally, and externally.
