May 12, 2017 NFL Back Vertebral Disc Hernia Williams suffered what the team called a "mild disc herniation in his lower back" on the 1st day of rookie minicamp. He didn't return to practice until September and didn't play until mid-October (Week 6). Sep 5, 2015 Non-NFL Cervical Neck Fracture Williams fractured the C6 vertebrae at the base of his neck in the 1st game of the 2015 season at Clemson. Nov 23, 2017 NFL Knee Bruise Williams missed 1 game with a bone bruise on his right knee. Sep 25, 2019 NFL Back Lower Lumbar Muscle Spasms Williams suffered a back injury that kept him out of the Chargers’ practice ahead of Week 4 game vs. Miami. He missed the game Aug 23, 2020 NFL Shoulder A/C Joint Sprain Williams suffered a sprained AC joint in training camp. He was active for the Week 1 game against the Bengals Sep 27, 2020 NFL Thigh Hamstring Strain Grade 2 Williams injured his hamstring during Week 3's contest against the Panthers. He missed the next game Dec 13, 2020 NFL Back Lower Lumbar Sprain Williams suffered a back injury during the Chargers' Week 14 win against the Falcons. He didn't miss any game Oct 23, 2022 NFL Pedal Ankle (high) Sprain Grade 3 Williams was helped off the field, unable to put any weight on his right leg. Nov 20, 2022 NFL Pedal Ankle Sprain/Pull Unspecified Grade 1 Williams aggravated his right ankle injury in Week 11. It looks bad, but my guess is many NFL players have injuries that get reported due to the NFL rules on reporting injuries. (NFL has been catering to gambling for a very long time) A closer look at your specific post...... 2015....broke his neck....missed the season...13 games. 2016....no data reported by Freak....why? Looked it up, played full season, 15 games. 2017....injured back, missed first 5 games, then injured knee, missed 1 game....so missed 6 games in total. 2018....played full season 2019....injured back....missed 1 game 2020....injured hamstring....missed 1 game 2021....played full season 2022....injured his ankle.....no games missed was noted by you Freak, so how many? (pretty certain he missed some)(I called it 4 games missed) So he missed, rough guess here, 25 games out of a possible 101.....I wonder how others look, such as KA....or Bosa. That would be missing every 4th game........................................

Not too sure my counting is accurate, as I was engaged in other work. 25% seems like a significant percentage, but maybe it isn't. Hence my question about KA's stats, and or Bosa's.....

Herniated disk and 2 lower back sprains is pretty serious... This will continue to be an issue. I agree it isn't going away..... When it bites, they will be playing KA, Palmer and Johnston.... Next year Johnston and Palmer, and ? TT will find a diamond that has been missed, he is that great of a GM......

Slayer missed 26 of his first 64 games as a Charger due to injury (40.6%) and was deemed to be glass by a large majority of the CMB at the time. Over the following five following seasons (2017 - 2021), Slayer missed all of 2 out of 82 games ... coincidentally, Slayer made the Pro Bowl every season. Then he had the hammy last season that cost him seven games, but it's the first significant injury he has had since 2016 when he suffered the ruptured ACL (untouched) after torching the opposition for 8 receptions in the first half of the game. Bosa has been far more problematic in the injury department. Without looking it up, I'm guessing that his games missed percentage is in the ballpark of MDub's.

Other than his groin tear last season and some concussions, its not that bad. I'll leave it to opinion on the foot problems... 2018 and last year are the only times he's missed significant consecutive games.

Bosa has missed 29 out of 116 games since being drafted (25%) due to a variety of injuries. He has had three healthy seasons (years 2, 4 and 6) each of which is bookended by seasons where he missed at least 4 games. At least we're due for a healthy season in 2023!! 🍺 <<knocking on the wood that is my skull>>www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BosaJo00.htm

Talking about injuries is sorta strange for Ice Hockey people in general, and just crazy talk for a goalie! There is simply no injury I won't try and play the game anyway....the term 'glass' is never used in Ice Hockey.

I only mentioned Bosa after asking about KA, and my Bosa thought was different position. I could have used Lamp, the perennial best OL player on roster.....
