I heard he is one of the youngest prospects in this draft- he’ll turn 21 in September. So he has some growth and improvement ahead of him- perfect to learn behind Mack and replace him in a year or so!

I like this pick. Big with a motor. Let him sub Mack and Bosa both and learn to be a pro. BTFU

TT drafted for a perceived need.....which almost always is a mistake. To use a baseball analogy, I see this pick as a single, not a homerun.

Throughout the entire lead up to the draft we've all been clamoring for an Edge prospect- I even thought this was our #1 need and hoped our first pick would be one of the upper-ranked Edge players. Getting Tuli in the second isn't a reach, based on his rankings it's where he should've been taken. The "fit" for the Chargers is he's a local kid (from USC) and he's young, allowing him to play behind Mack and learn before needing him to be a full time starter. And he's pretty good!

And that is the problem, he was pretty good in college, but I see a struggle in the Pro's.
If Edge was viewed as such a need, TT should have drafted Nolan Smith in rd 1.....
Time will tell, but I just don't see it with Tuli......

I don't get the animosity with this pick... Nolan Smith is small and under sized. We need pass rushers that can also defend the run, Tuli fits the bill.

I have looked a plenty of his play on film since he was the pick, and it is just a feeling.....just my read on him nothing more.

No, I wanted Robinson.....after he was off the board, I was just an interested bystander. The Nolan Smith aspect is who I thought the Chargers would pick, nothing more.
