Yes you were.......and I think AF was wanting WR or TE...... Moore has been built up as the solution to all that was wrong.....seems like that hill is getting pretty big. I wanted a TE in the 2nd, Washington in the 3rd would have been amazing but we got some local Linebacker guy that prob won't amount to much. Tuli seems like a boom or busy type of player. We shall see. I don’t blame them for going edge there—definitely needed another.

I don't know how his choice will work out but the logic is clear. Kendricks is solid but aging, K9 is probably in his last year

Seau worked out pretty well but he's not him either. Daiyan seems like a good prospect. I wish him well.

It's interesting our different perspectives- Henley is probably my favorite of the draft picks this year. I'm not saying he's the world's best LB, and all Charger fans hope he's good very quickly and will develop to be even better! But I do see the potential for stardom in him, both on the field ( where it matters) because of his speed and intelligence, and off the field due to his personality and charisma. Fingers crossed for him and all our draft picks, but I have less doubt with Henley than the others.

Absolutley, I'm just saying college accolades don't usually translate to an automatic NFL Pro Bowler... Don't get me wrong, I hope Henley kicks ass. TT's record on drafting LB'ers and my preference of TE in the first 3 rounds has me jaded, we shall see.

That is a great point. Throw to everyone and let DC's try to figure it out. Good luck to them. Wait.....I thought Moore's greatness was the run game his offence brings to the game. That starting OL group the Chargers have looks like it should run block quite well..... Minus the fact that they have sucked ass at it. I hope Kellen fixes it, but I still say we got pass blocking guys versus run blocking guys. If I had to pick I would take the pass blocking guys.

Scheme certainly has plenty to do with it, but having the right players, in the right positions seems just as important. It looks like the club finally has those five guys that will be successful at both aspect, run and pass blocking. Of course play calls, QB decision making can play a big part in OL success. We shall see, but I am predicting top shelf results for this OL!

I tend to agree af, college results just tell me the player has the talent to play in the NFL, not if said player will be successful in NFL.....

We've got two run blocking guards in 2023 (Zion and Salyer) after not having a similar pairing of guards over the past 15 seasons since Kris Dielman & Mike Goff were last seen roadgrading in 2008. That and Moore's scheme will make a massive difference in 2023. Bank on it!!

Correct me if I am wrong on this, but didn't Salyer play LOT for essentially the entire year last year.....and wasn't he an OT in college that they were kicking inside to OG, but due to injury he was forced to play OT? Which means he still needs to prove his worth at OG.....I have all the confidence in him, just pointing out it still needs to be shown, eh

Moore seems to put the value in play calling to set up the success for any given play.
