alot has changed since this thread was made. I dub it the current doncos game day thread. This game is pretty ugly so far. Peyton benching Russ is kinda crazy considering the chiefs are playing terrible and the broncos could win the afc west. Its hard to watch, even if you are ok with the loss. Really poor brand of football. If this was English premier league soccer the Chargers would be relegated to a lower division |

Based on Eckler, Herbert, and the o-line either Lombardi wasn't as bad as advertised or Moore wasn't as good as advertised. Even Slater regressed.

What is worse is the ownership cannot get a its fans to even come to a game. I have never seen it this bad. selling the team is about the only thing that might get fans back or get any at all. Winning. Only a few hate the owners enough to not enjoy consistent wins against top opponents and dogs.

Lombardi was bad as advertised and Moore wasn’t as good as advertised Moore has made Lombardi look a lot better. If Lombardi was bad, Moore is a disaster as OC. The offense took a significant drop in production under Moore. I see many seem to think Moore is a top HC candidate in '24. They clearly overlooked 2023.

Not if they wanted a high draft position. They fire TT/Staley to make a statement and clear a path. Keep Moore to tank for draft position. Perhaps I am giving Spanos too much credit.

But, I see no reason to fire him. Now. Let the new HC make the call.
