Ummm, Diontae Johnson was traded for a fifth round pick... what do we think we'd get for Palmer, an eighth-rounder? (Yes, I know there's only seven rounds in the draft, that's the joke)

He's no world beater, but is quietly and consistently filling a wr2-3 role IMO. A role we don't have otherwise. Ladd is coming on strong. QJ is climbing back (?). DJ hopefully will be in the mix very soon. Unpopular opinion: if our WR room is healthy, it's pretty damned decent. Maybe we make a bargain trade for MW to bolster that. But I'm with you. We ain't making a splash and selling the farm for some diva. And we shouldn't. |

He's just not that good, WR3 sure but that's not where he is "supposed" to be at this point in his career.

The time for serious changes will be next off season.
