Where are all of the Spanos haters now ?? Dean did his job. Probably in the same place they’ve been all along. Any hate directed towards Spanos has been well justified, and doesn’t just disappear at the snap of a finger, because he finally hired a good HC…

Harbaugh hiring is definitely a great start.
It will be interesting to see Harbaugh build his staff. Set the tone of what is to come, eh
Now go get that great GM....and figure out the path from Cap distress.

Great to see this happen, I look forward to seeing who they pair with him as GM. Am I the only fan who has no clue about GMs or other front office personnel? They could hire Billy Beane and I wouldn't know if that was a good or bad thing. Heck, Telesco was here for ten years and I don't even know if he was good or bad! (compared to other GMs)My only thought in the list of GM candidates has been "that guy from the Ravens seems like he'd be good because the Ravens have seemingly drafted well forever." But I hope they get someone in place soon- now that the coach is in- to collaborate/prep for the draft, free agency, salary cap and other offseason priorities we need to get started on.

I was with everybody else, make the tough cuts, get under the Cap, etc etc. This just changed everything. Make the Cap work, restructure where you have to, cheat, copy Denver and cheat again. Do whatever it takes. We are still a win now team. Moreso now.

Time to share some of my early insight into my Harbaugh prediction: I said it in passing before, but if you go back and look when I really started pounding the table it was when Spanos fired Staley. His words were: "......frankly, the fans deserve better."
THAT was my clue that he was going after Harbaugh.

Do whatever it takes. We are still a win now team. Moreso now. The 'cap' challenge has never been so great that the Chargers were not in the 'win now' mode, or at least in my view. Harbaugh has three big challenges ahead.... Fix the Schemes, both O and D..... Then fix the malaise, or lack of effort, found among far too many player.
