If Harbaugh wins a Super Bowl in those fives years, that 80 mil is paid out with a huge smile...... if Harbaugh wins a Superbowl he will be extended and they will pay 18-20 mill a year for the next extension. And the dollars coming in from the investment over the length of the contract will dwarf it.
I can't state it strongly enough Harbaugh here is a game changer. We are now swimming in the big pool as a relevant team in the NFL. The location, the QB and the coach will make this franchise double in value over the next few years.

New Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh is continuing to fill out his staff as he enters his first season at the helm. With NFL insider Adam Schefter reporting Thursday morning that LA is finalizing a deal to make USC assistant Kiel McDonald the team’s next running backs coach.
McDonald has spent the past two seasons as USC running backs coach and five seasons prior to that in the same role for the Utah Utes.
