I am reading the Chargers are NOT franchise tagging Ekeler, and he will enter free agency. Saquan Barkley is still a hot rumor for us. Josh Jacobs too.

I was looking at possible FA centre and really see none I am liking....it appears to my untrained eye that the solution is accepting Clapp, or drafting one. Even if we get a good FA C, how long will he last and at what price? Draft seems better.

You think they try and keep both....Mack and Bosa? Restructure ? Only if you want to keep them..... So yes on Mack..... no on Bosa?

He's a 3rd down back and I wouldn't mind having him back if his head is straight but at a much reduced role which means no top RB salary |

Only if you want to keep them..... So yes on Mack..... no on Bosa? That would be my choice. 17 sacks is crazy good. Bosa has talked to Harbaugh and said he was very impressed. So he is at least holding the line on saying the right things. The reality of fans is no big loss if Bosa's big money leaves. But he still considered a good football player. The Chargers need to tippy toe through these situations. But I feel WAY better that this front office has a plan for success.

Bosa being 'impressed' doesn't keep him from being injured.....and that is his biggest issue.

I would bet they draft a RB and pickup a value RB in FA to fill out the room. Doubt they spend money there.
