I have some Cap news.
Chargers C Corey Linsley agreed to a restructured contract that lowers his base salary from $11.5M to the minimum for the 2024 season.
This moves creates $10.29M in cap space for now and if Linsley retires after June 1st, the team can spread the dead cap hit over 2 years.
Linsley told reporters after the season he was 99% likely to retire this offseason.

GM Joe Hortiz his first move was genius. He is off to a great start.
I have a feeling he will be one of those guys that people will say "What is he doing ?" Then it ends up being the correct move.

We might pick up another approx 5 million in cap space. The league is raising the cap total.

Why would Ekeler be on the potential 'waive' list, is he not at end of contract, hence a free agent?

But its unlikely. Even 247 would help us.

He said two more players like the Linsley deal and we will be under the Cap.

This is his work.
