I really haven’t felt it since Marty and AJ. They hated each other, but damn AJ got players that Marty knew exactly how to use. Sproles, Turner, Hardwick as mid round picks. Foley, Goff, McCardell as FA’s. We’d get a guy and they instantly fit. The past decade plus it seems like we get a guy and scratch our head as to how they are best utilized. Of course there are exceptions but that is the rule. Outside of Salyer and Gilman, no mid or late round gems. Guys that seem to not fit with what we are doing. I sense symmetry, purpose, continuity, and an actual game plan. I am happy.
