I think he'll rest that back and start to feel better and sometime after the season is rolling, he'll decide to play again.

I’m not so sure, Terry. I don’t know how much more Gronk needs to prove, and his body needs to last for many more years if he hopes to enjoy the rest of his life.

I’m not so sure, Terry. I don’t know how much more Gronk needs to prove, and his body needs to last for many more years if he hopes to enjoy the rest of his life. I'm not so sure either, ...... just a hunch. My thinking is it's hard to give up the competition and when he heals up - that draw of competing may draw him back.

Not a surprise given the condition of his back, but even then it is a bit of a jolt. I despise the Patsies, but Gronk had one hell of a career!! Just a beast of a player. What a great career, congrats. Its been long known that he wants to pursue other things. Smart. He's had the hell beat out of him out there. He is convinced there are better ways to make a buck than 5 pro guys hitting you on a pass play.

Just waiting for the announcement that the Pats signed Gates Let me say this about that........The Pats evil empire in the day might have stepped on you while you were on the ground, and they would run to the locker room after a game to snub you. In our playoff game, Gates caught a touchdown on the right side of the endzone with two defenders. The defenders helped Gates to his feet !!! Then, after the game there were two players that Brady sought out. He RAN over to hug Gates and talk to him. He also sought out Rivers.
