The scouting group is key. We have film and other peoples thoughts on players, but these guys are at the schools, at practices, at games, constantly meeting with folks. Gives you confidence on who they choose

Damn, just watched the episode on the television. Gotta tell you what got me pumped up besides envisioning Derwin James' second season progression: After so many damned heartbreaks over the past 15 years, the Chargers have got their kicker for the next 15 years!!  The Money Badger IS absolute money, and I fully endorse my fellow St. Hedwig parent and neighbor Matt Money Smith's assessment of him. This is a very overlooked segment of the franchise as they attempt to win their first NFL ring! Where would the Patriots have been during the foundation setting period without Adam Vinatieri???

Also enjoyed the subsequent segments that I watched after my previous post:
You can feel secondary coach Ron Milus' effect on the most talented portion of the roster, and I can foresee an uptick in the number of turnovers based on both the secondary's talent and increased pressure up front.
I also loved the end where Anthony Lynn announced his only rule for the upcoming month off before training camp: "Protect the team"
