Actually we match up quite well against TB.....not trying to take anything away from them, great team/season no doubt, eh.... One of Carolina, Columbus, Pittsburgh or the Islanders have to stumble down the stretch for you. I don't see Washington doing it. I also don't see les Habs finishing higher or lower than 4th in the Atlantic. Plenty of Ice Hockey to be played yet, but at this point, we are focused on WC # 2........which really looks to be between us and CBJ.

The only scenario I can come up with is... a group of very very fabulously wealthy Mormons decide that VGK players need to be saved from sinning in Vegas immediately . They offer so much money that the Board of Governors approve the move and merger with the Grizzlies. That team would then have to go on and win 16 games in the playoffs. |

The tribute (Gold Stick, histoire) and the article (Plante's famous mask, skaters without helmets, controversy) all was a great read, watch. I am aghast that the Bruins, Rangers and Blackhawks would cheat by making the crossbars on their goals @ home ice 2 inches lower than regulation. Everyone, they deviously welded the crossbars to the inside of the highest points on the goalposts, instead of welding the crossbars to the top of the goalposts.
