It's probably no secret to most of you now, but the Chargers socail media team has been *we need a fire emoji so that i can simply put a fire emoji here*
This is an example of their next level troll-ery.
For those that do not grace Twitter, or other forms of social media, there's a thread to single out some notable stuff.

They definitely do a great job!
I loved the piece that they put together with a collage of reactions (private home shots, bars, etc.) when Mike Williams caught the winning two-point conversion at Arrowhead last December!!

Most Twitter users were head over heels over the Pop Tarts one, which I thought was creative. Funny? Meh.
But you can see that the crew behind the social media account is the most talented out there.
Complex Sports, for what it's worth, ranked them as the best NFL social media account last year.

And sadly, I truly believe that is what drove the CMB "out of business": Joel's focus is on the social media platforms, so the message boards be damned!

Seems likely that his research showed that's where the money is. Given the accolades the Chargers social media team has received (by free agents football fans, fans of other teams, and notable sports figures), it makes sense to reallocate their budget there. (As much as it sucks to admit, I guess; because I liked the old CMB.)

You do realize I have mad respect for that, right ?

I feel like our social media team are Charger fans who were pulled off of the NFL reddit site and hired to just troll anyone and everyone against the bolts lmao

I didn't like the move to pull the plug on the CMB, but I'm glad we applied Darwinism and evolved in a way we wanted to survive.

Although the Chargers did donate $275 to my charity event.
