Meanwhile Okung may not be ready for training camp Looks like Pipkin's timetable to be active just went up. That makes me so freakin' mad ! Not because of Small School Sammy, because it is so unfair to put that on our 3rd round rookie. They have got to go get those freakin' OT positions some help. Just too thin in depth, and now Okung is hurt. Really pulling for Pipkins. I hope his raw talent translates. Pray he becomes starter material AND we sign him some help.

They moved Tevi to LT and Trent Scott played RT. Lynn said the injury to Okung is "worrisome". I think it's scary to have Tevi at LT. It could be a long year for Rivers!

I have been really busy, and as such have no idea what injury has happened to Okung. It being characterized as 'worrisome' implies an undefined injury such as lower back pain, or lingering hip pain, as opposed to a pretty up front injury such as broken leg. Having Tevi at LOT is beyond concerning, it is a disaster in the making. TT might have rolled the dice on the OT position once too many times.....

The best will play, and if the best has no business playing, you are in big trouble. Tevi at LOT is beyond big trouble..... TT will be living in the dumpsters for a good while, eh.....

There are still 3 months between now and the start of the season. Okung being out isn't an issue. It does illustrate how bad our depth is though. Tevi is starting at LT? Oof.

How many teams actually have great O-line depth though? It’s hard enough for teams to find a really good starting five to begin with. Also I’m not in panic mode as we have a lot of time to figure everything out. All we know is they’re not sure if Okung will be back by the “start” of TC. Doesn’t mean he won’t be back in the middle/back end of TC/start of the season. |

If they do not have any rule forcing the disclosure of injuries, then why in the world would AL use the term 'worrisome' in discussing the injury? (I did not see any quote, it is just what I have read on here) Seems like AL has stirred the pot on this, is that by accident or not ?

It gives us something to talk about while the team is out playing golf.
