While BB's dry responses bother most, the actual reply is pretty much what I would want from any HC on that subject.

While BB's dry responses bother most, the actual reply is pretty much what I would want from any HC on that subject. It's not his dry response, it's the death stare at a reporter doing her job. The reason why she is asking now is because he refused to answer when it originally happened and cut his mandatory press conference when continued to be pressed. It was a high risk, high reward signing that blew up in BB's face. When it goes wrong, you don't get to dictate the terms of what you are allowed to be asked - you need to face the music. Personally, I hope that he is asked that question every day until he responds to it. Tough luck if he doesn't like it.

The club might not ever be able to control what questions are presented, but they sure can control what responses they want to have given to those questions. The media can ask every day, BB will just get better at ignoring the inquiry. Curious as to why this matters to you? As a fan of the Chargers, the entire AB debacle seems unimportant.

BB would have been better off addressing it right off the bat instead of ending a press conference after 2 minutes: "AB was warned not to contact any of the parties at hand, AB ignored that warning, so AB is no longer a Patriot." <<End of story>> BB is/was arrogant enough to believe that it will go away if he just ignores the bad decision that he made instead of addressing it. This will continue to be an issue so long as BB chooses to ignore it. As for the bold: it's a matter of setting precedent of a player getting away with abhorrent behavior and the team dodging responsibility with a dodge-the-tough-questions that are and deserve to be asked attitude. BB has nobody to blame but himself for the debacle.

Pittsburgh tried and managed to get a return on an asset they wanted to part ways with, Oakland cut their loss before the loss was crazy high, Patriots cut their loss pretty quickly as well while keeping the loss pretty insignificant. All of the clubs recognized AB is a highly talented, highly troubled player. Why hate on Patriots but none on Raiders......both clubs gave it a shot with AB ?

Why is the media put on some kind of pedestal like anyone is obligated to answer every question or treat them any certain way. You ask me a question you know I don't want to answer and I'll respond the same way... That so called journalist can pound sand, she is not owed anything.

The media is a 'partner' of sorts in the marketing of the club. So it is always good to give access, reasonable answers, etc etc.....

As a head coach in the NFL, you are obligated to appear at press conferences. It is part of the job. To cut short a press conference after a couple of minutes on Friday because you want to dodge the consequences of a very very questionable decision is highly unprofessional, and to give the death stare on Sunday because you are asked the #1 question on the NFL’ s viewing public’s mind due to the fact that you dodged the question in the immediate aftermath is laughably indefensible. BB was lauded as a genius for making this move 11 days before, and when it predictably blew up it’s nothing to see here from the organization that allegedly had a zero tolerance assault against females policy from its owner in place when they decided to let him play before the NFL investigation began. BB is undeniably a great great coach, but the Patriots have proved time and again as an organization that they are willing to do all the wrong things & take the most unethical paths to securing the almighty W. BB should be asked this question by the media every day until he answers for his actions.
