If its baseball related lets put it here.
Bryce Harper is a Philly. Would of loved to see him in a Padre uni to go with Mercado.

Mercado, eh? lol
I was actually worried the Dodgers would sign him. Not happy with giving any player more than 5 years on a contract.
While I'm a Dodger fan, and hate the Giants and D-backs, and can tolerate the Rockies, I don't dislike the Padres. It would've been nice to see them bring back an offense to rival the Gwynn/Caminiti/Vaughn-era of the Padres. Forgot if Finley was with them around that time.

The padres usually have pitching. They need hitters to compete better with the Dodgers. Was more of a dodgers fan when Lasorda managed. Now I could care less. Always a Padre fan, but one that sees them as fodder, until they can find a way to play with consistency and spend a little more.

Phillies are looking to Harper as a savior. No wonder they shelved up to $330M the richest ever deal for a baseball player.

In a few years, the Jays will be dominating with a bunch of second generation superstars, including:
Vladimir Guerrero Jr Bo Bichette Cavan Biggio Kacy Clemens
Until then though, it’s gonna be kinda ugly, so I’ll just hide out in the NBA thread.

Pumped the Pads are going to be in the MLB this year instead of AAA.
Side note, I picked up baseball coaching (2 years ago) and getting ready to go. Coaching the froshies.
Good team this year, I think.

That Harper signing is ridiculous. Going to be an albatross for the Phillies.
Thank you Arenado for re-signing with Colorado. Now, Angels, get a couple of pitchers!!!!! (Then you can get Trout to re-up and stick around . . .. )

At least it'll be easy to get seats for a family outing at the Rogers Centre until then......

Interest trivia Joe.
So the pads are in second place in the NL west 6.5 games back. 1 game out of the WC.
Not too bad

Beat me to it ! I’ve been watching Cavan all Spring in AAA. He got called up much sooner than I thought, but he was ready. The Blue Jays will be adding Bo Bichette (son of Dante) sometime in the not too distant future as well. He was playing with Cavan in AAA Buffalo this year, but broke his hand a few weeks ago. So within a year or two, we should have three 2nd Generation players in the infield. Roger Clemens son Kacy is in the Blue Jays farm system as well, but he’s still quite a bit away from the Majors...
