What a run by Easton Stick! Yes it was! His running makes up for some of his earlier passing miscues.

I agree with the general sentiments at the half: Love the first two drives minus the Ek fumble (AL will put a stop to that). Taylor is a massive upgrade at the backup. We didn’t really see the D, and I won’t be disappointed if we don’t see it until the second Sunday of September. Gordon doesn't fumble on the 2 yard line.

Gordon watching the game last night must have started thinking "Crap, these guys are doing great without me!" (Speaking of Ekeler and JJ) Then when he saw Ekeler fumble at the two yard line he had to think "Haha, now they'll pay my asking price!" But then Ekeler and JJ came right back with good plays, capped by JJ running through a defender to score, and Gordon once again had to think "What am I doing? " That's how I think went through MG's mind last night.

I sure do because I damned near had a heart attack. www.baltimoreravens.com/video/highlight-refs-rule-melvin-gordon-short-but-no-fumblePreseason game, and Lynn will ensure that doesn’t happen again.

MG has great hands. You just posted a non fumble call, while Ekeler's ball is being scooped up. We cannot have drives killed in this fashion.
Bring the stallion back.

The stallion is free to return and get paid more than he is worth. His call. If he stay out, he can clean toilets' the rest of his life.

I saw parts of the first half. Thought Tyrod looked great, Lamp was solid for the most part, MW with a nice grab, Ek and JJ good notwithstanding drive killer on 2, defense got carved up by Kyler a bit, Uchenna looked good on D.
Thoughts on the game? Any rookies stand out? Who is Chris Peace? He got pressure a few times.

Not one ball carrier is exempt from fumbles. Ekeler learned a valuable lesson in a meaningless game - that's a good thing.
