Gordon doesn't fumble on the 2 yard line. Gordon has fumbled 10 times in his 4 years. Not one ball carrier is exempt from fumbles. Ekeler learned a valuable lesson in a meaningless game - that's a good thing. Our eyeballs know he fumbled. What fantasyland says he "learned a valuable lesson". How do we know that ? Proof ?
"I just know Ekeler said gosh o'double darn it. I will never forget that play my whole life. It will transcend life itself and I will never lose the ball again. Keep using me at 4 foot 9 to be the cowbell workhorse over the next 18 games. Post my Twitter film of me jumping over pillows in camp."
C'mon man. Preseason is on. Iron Fist Rule is hereby in effect.

The stallion is free to return and get paid more than he is worth. His call. If he stay out, he can clean toilets' the rest of his life. The drive fumble was a preview of the year. Get used to it. Didn’t see a drive fumble from the guy who will be the starter if a certain RB doesn’t pull his head out of an orifice where the son don’t shine. As for the “non-fumble”, I’m sure that MGIII was yucking it up with coach on the sideline telling him not to sweat it and that he planned it that way to add some excitement to the game. 😉

Pillows don't strip the ball and recover it in critical situations.

I saw parts of the first half. Thought Tyrod looked great, Lamp was solid for the most part, MW with a nice grab, Ek and JJ good notwithstanding drive killer on 2, defense got carved up by Kyler a bit, Uchenna looked good on D. Thoughts on the game? Any rookies stand out? Who is Chris Peace? He got pressure a few times. The D got carved up by Kyler a lot - not a little bit, but the studs on our D line never played a down. Peace is rookie from Virginia who is said to be too light for an NFL DE but he may surprise. Pipkins stood out - but in a bad way.
The OL protected the QB well and opened holes for the run.I was impressed by the play of the two backup Centers (Feeney & Qberry). We should be in pretty good shape at Center if Pouncey misses any time. Scott surprised me at LT. We may have a better LT than we expected.

Doesn’t sound like a 2nd year player who just turned 23, does he?

Thanks. Good news on the centers and Scott

Ekeler looks good in space. Always has. I worry when I see him getting gang tackled by guys twice his size. I don’t think he lasts that way.

He looked pretty good.

Do you dislike Ekeler this much or are you such a huge fan of Gordon that you oppose the other RB's in camp.

I thought I was watching Darren Sproles run up the middle and get killed by Rau Lewis. Ekler may want to do it. May even think he can do it. But that needs to be Jackson, or Watt (whoever, our FB is)

Did not watch any of the game, just going off of reading the comments here. Got me thinking, it is pre-season games, not a lot of starters playing. Yea, there were some, but not too many for any of the teams. Really hard to say too definitively much of anything due to the disclaimer of 'but who was in the game when he did that......' So I was wondering, what do the coaches know, and what are they trying to find out.....and I am talking the Bolts coaches. What play did you see that made you think 'they are trying to see if he can do that'.... I am not talking about rookies getting reps on tape.
