A big THANK YOU to Drew Brees, for breaking Potatohead Manning’s final career passing record last night. Now when Potatohead enters the HOF, he won’t hold ANY career passing records. The only NFL records Potatohead now holds are only tied to a single season, and one which was probably tainted by HGH. The TD passes in a game record is tied with many, Brees being one of them, so he doesn’t actually own that one. The yards per season is only 1 single yard over Brees’ best season, so I can live with that one (especially since I’m sure there was a generous spot or two of the ball the refs in there). The 55 TD passes in season, that willl be broken some day for sure. Best of all, that historic season ended with one of my favorite NFL games of all time, the 43-8 shellacking in the Super Bowl. #closure Somebody really doesn't like Peyton Manning lol!!! I'm glad Brees got this record, he is one of the most deserving... I hope Brady* never catches him.

You know what record is getting over shadowed ? The same night he went 29 for 30. That is 29 for freaking fracking 30 !!!!!!!!! Wow.

Pocket Composer. Something we have not seen in the Chargers since......well Drew Brees I've never before seen such a strong combination of recency bias and revisionist history. Nice job! "Recency bias" is the phenomenon of a person most easily remembering something that has happened recently, compared to remembering something that may have occurred a while back.
you people don't think I'm helping ? HA. Straight hardcore Giver.

I've never before seen such a strong combination of recency bias and revisionist history. Nice job! do tell... SDC Brees even at his best here never even remotely approached NO Brees. And Rivers has been quite good at QB for the Chargers, just not lately. But you know that. Your post makes it sound like we've suffered 14 seasons of a far inferior quarterback compared to the one we had.

Your post makes it sound like we've suffered 14 seasons of a far inferior quarterback compared to the one we had. Oh, hell. I thought it was recency bias because Brees injured his arm, there were doctors that said his whole career was over, we had Rivers on the bench, and it was a no brainer to let Brees go. 32 out of 32 teams would have done the same thing.
My bad.

You mean 30 out of 32... NO and the Dolphins both took a gamble, and the Saints won. You guys are getting way to sensitive about this... Whats done is done, it was almost 15 years ago. I don't blame AJ for letting Brees go, although I do think he was a moron for fighting Marty over Brees Vs. Rivers.

(Rivers moonlighting for 3 checks is approved.)
