I watched that replay early this morning when reviewing the game package. I think the first shot broke his tower, and after that mobility was quite diminished. That second shot was a bomb, and looked like it hurt, but shot blocking is a must for any winger that wants to stay in NHL. Still, the effort is awesome, especially with knowing it will hurt. If you want to see entertainment from shot, look at the players in front of net when Shea Weber blasts a shot. They are all, both club players, all trying to become as slender as possible. There is almost a collective prayer being sent out, please God let puck not hit me......

Pens look really good......it is a long ride though, and they can't afford too many injury. Getting Evgeni Malkin back was a boost. 2 assists on the night. Read an article that the league rotates: Big players is the fad, then fast players are the fad. They said currently Big players is the league wave. REACT

REACT Colorado has both, big and fast.......medium and fast....small and fast. I think the fad is all about fast, eh?

Regarding the hit on Habs Jake Evans by Jets Mark Scheifele, at the end of Game One, on an empty net wraparounder...
I agree with the suspension for the next four games.
The Charge produced a blow that caused Evans head to bounce off the ice.
A very good player temporarily lost it.
It was a terrible hockey play and inexcusable.
The series may be over.

Montreal is completely overwhelmed in the Cup Series. Tampa Bay going for back to back titles.
