I’d like that move quite a bit. A one year audition for Tyrod, whose mobility would be huge for this offense, and a blue chip prospect elsewhere would be smart. Either Tyrod plays well and earns a long term deal or he tanks and we’re having the same conversation next year. I don’t think Telesco can afford another 5 win season unless he spends pick 6 on a QB though. there is colin Kapernick... He is available. imjustsayin Toxic.....no club will touch signing him.

Some really big names, and it is just a partial list right now of QBs that are currently or projected to be free agents:
Drew Brees Tom Brady Philip Rivers Dak Prescott Jameis Winston Tedy Bridgewater Marcus Mariota Ryan Tannehill
Has the cost become too much for the value? Will clubs/GM's now be looking long and hard at drafting that 'possible' franchise QB to free monies up to spend elsewhere?
* stole this off of Bleacher Report

Top four are 25 mil/yr for certain, maybe a bunch more. Not too sure how that cost fits in the budgeting across an entire roster. I am certain GM's will figure it out, but at what cost to affording depth players.

More thoughts...
The idea of Brady is actually warming up to me... If Tua does not enter the draft simply because of draft position and money, then I don't want him on this team.

I have no interest in Tua, but it seems unfair to not like him based off of a business decision only. Tua has plenty to consider, as he would be a likely top ten pick this year. Can you imagine if he stays in school and gets hurt again......drop like a rock, and that would be very expensive. My guess is he goes into this draft.

The cost for Brady would be prohibitive in my view, and I just do not see him having any interest. But......if not the Pats, then where?

I'm really curious as to what Brady will command if he makes it out of NE.

I'm really curious as to what Brady will command if he makes it out of NE. He has always taken lower pay to build a good team. No reason to stop now. Throw him 3 years for 75 million. See what he says.
(he wants the years not the dough.)

Tua declares for the NFL draft....... He was never going back to college to get hurt again for free. Well yea, but there was that one aspect that might have seen him stay in school......you know, the doctors telling him there were some issues. In that case he would have fallen like a rock in the draft.....but all is good, so in he goes. I like it, as Herbert should be there if TT wants him, or some club trades above the Bolts to get their QB.....causing another really good player to drop.
