That’s how I’m reading the signals. Probably doesn’t change much except the 2-3 fight over Burrow, and trades therefore, if that comes to pass. I think Cincinnati would be idiots to take Tua over Burrow.....and all the marketing aside, not a chance in hell they do not take Burrow 1st. Of course, Cincinnati should take Young, then grab the best QB on the board next pick....... That is virtually what they did in 2011. Andy Dalton in the second round. Pretty sure they are looking forward to the first overall pick now. (they got WR AJ Green in the first round. So that was pretty sweet.)

I wonder... Has a team ever picked 1 and 2 in the first round before?

I wonder... Has a team ever picked 1 and 2 in the first round before? 1992 Colts. It didn't work out to good either. Indianapolis chose defensive tackle Steve Emtman and linebacker Quentin Coryatt with the first two picks. The only other time an NFL team had the first two picks was the 1958 Chicago Cardinals, when there were only 13 picks in the first round.

Quentin Coryatt wasn't THAT bad. But both players got hit with the injury curse.

To the Colts credit, it was a horrible draft year. It is the only draft since 1960 to produce no Pro Football Hall of Famers.

I, and I alone, will not only lead you through the Chargers free agency and draft, by May, I "may" have our Return to Glory strategy laid out for you. Right now its not on me. Its ALL about Tom Telesco.

This is absurd. To believe that NFL teams believe in media hype when selecting draft picks is laughable. Reference the "not a chance in hell" aspect of the post........then go get high and mighty with your takes. Doubling down on this nonsense doesn't make it any better. Even your retort is completely dependent on the opinions of the pundits. The Bengals will select Burrows if they believe he is the best player in this draft. His position will certainly help but other factors will come into play. The two biggest are Joe's tiny little baby hands and Tua's health. There are multiple chances in hell that the Bengals don't select Burrow. None of them will have anything to do with who the media hypes or doesn't.
Someone might be more enamored with Burrows than they are and are willing to give up the farm to trade up for him. Tua could still very well be the first QB taken. To predict what will happen at the end of April before the combine is over in February is absurd.

Well yes, there is that slight chance.......Cincinnati might trade down with the Patriots, or any other club.....but it is unlikely. Similar to it being unlikely they do not take Burrows with that first pick. My opinions are not 'completely' based in reading the media, as I have watched both Burrows and Tua play, limited amounts clearly. If it was me, I would take Young, then get a QB with my second pick...... but just watch the draft and see Burrows walk out on that stage as first pick.
