A lot of truth put forward by Eric Williams regarding Whis: Six fricking years ago?!? What have you done for me lately? Not For Long league. Sorry, not sorry. Let's see what our QB coach can do. Hopefully he knows enough about our QBs not not call a play where Rivers is lined up as a wide freaking receiver. Seriously. My dead great aunt would be a better decoy out there. He wasn’t the coordinator for six seasons. He had a head coaching gig with the Tennessee Titans in 2014 & 2015 when Frank Reich took over the OC reins.

My point was on the 2013 comment. That, I believe, was six years ago -- but I wasn't a math major. And Frank Reich? I still have nightmares about him, why would you bring it up? Are the Chargers in some sort of competition to find the worst OC of all time ever? Oh God I pine for Norv Turner. NORV EFFING TURNER.

So it is all Lynn now.
Rivers will be next offensive centerpiece to go.

Did you just say lets see what Shane Steichen can do ? Who's claim to fame was being the Cleveland Browns Offensive Quality Coach for 2013 LMAO !!!!!!!! Whisenhunt will be employed fast. If he waits, he might get a HC job in the offseason. Book it. From me to you.

And PR experienced another turnaround upon Whis’ return after suffering a downturn under Reich that was largely due to the declining talent surrounding him. Funny thing about Reich is that he was hugely successful after departing SD (offensive coordinator with the Super Bowl champion Eagles and head coach in Indy). The talent level of available players probably played a big part in the offense’s performance in those years just as oline availability played a big part in the offense’s performance in 2019. Hopefully Okung rounding into shape will improve the oline play this year as pass protection greatly improved upon his return while facing a very good Bears pass rush.

This is how it begins. The firings start at the bottom and work their way up. Lynn will be gone by next year, but what really needs to happen is a change in ownership.

But hopefully this time after he's an abject failure as a head coach he doesn't boomerang back to being our OC!!
