Just win, Lynn. #1 problem is 5 losses. #2..wayyy too many self inflicted, game-changing errors. Clean up the stinkin' mistakes. Run, pass, who cares as long as we move the ball, score and win. Go Bolts!

PR’s reply regarding Whis & Shane. And Is PR going the Minshew / Uncle Rico route with the ‘stache??
Whatever it takes to shake up the mojo, I guess. 🤷♂️

Rivers doesn't really care as he is out of LA after this season is over....The Chargers will claim they made him an offer but Rivers declined. That is how this ownership does things....always have and always will. Once Rivers is no longer playing for the Chargers a good portion of fans in San Diego that still watch because of Rivers will find something else to do but hey....the fight for LA still goes on....Rams vs USC.......Chargers vs the USC Rowing Team
Now if they can just follow up that gift of a win against the Bears and put a beat down on the Pack then maybe the season turns.....maybe

There's no way the Chargers can outdraw the USC rowing team. Laughable!

Both Brady and Brees have had their contracts expire while PR has always been taken care of, and the Chargers will continue to take care of PR after the season is over. That’s what happens when you spend so much that you have one of the smallest remaining 2029 team salary caps available (less tha $5 million).

Correct Joe. PR is not leaving LA. He will be around at least one more year.
That said, wouldn't it be crazy if PR went say to the PATS and Brady came to the Charger? Or Brees comes to the Bolts, PR to the Pats, Brady to NO? How about Brees goes to Pats, PR to NO, Brady to LAC? Now that would be fascinating off season

Could you imagine PR on that Browns team? Holy smokes... I think he has maybe 1 more year, 2 tops. Tyrod will take over the team until the rookie that we inevitably draft takes over (and likely fails).

He plays for the Bolts (>90% chance), or he retires (<10% chance).

After he will be abandoned by team (Lynn & TT) .
He will chase ring with competent team that is missing QB (enter Bears).

PR ain't being abandoned anymore than the Saints and Patriots have abandoned Brees and Brady over the years. PR ain't moving or abandoning the family, either: they're the #1 priority in life (and rightly so). This is 2016 all over again when Kevin "I know Philip Rivers" Acee was proclaiming that PR would demand a trade to the Titans so that he'd be close to his "home" in northern Alabama. Besides his eldest daughter who was born in Raleigh when PR was still a student at NC State and moved to San Diego at age two, San Diego is all the family has known. He'll retire before unsettling all of his children's lives.

No AF, I am not speaking to the influence that might be involved with J Spanos in the mix. I am saying that there is a huge amount of effort that goes into developing any big board, from which the options to choose are provided. In the end, after much discussion, debate, etc etc.....someone makes the decision. Might be TT, might not be, we really do not know. Regardless, there can be no denying any decision is a collaborative effort. Deciding to fire TT just based off of the drafting seems to diminish the value in all of the other responsibilities TT handles, and ignores that collaborative effort mentioned above. If I had a problem with drafting, I would be looking long and hard at my system, not just my GM. I gotcha, and I'll counter with its not just drafting... While I think he handled the MGIII dispute appropriately, TT arguably has not had much success bringing in free agents or negotiating contracts in a way that makes players want to come here. ( just wait for the circus that will be the Bosa contract) While that is 100% my opinion... I think the state of the team right now speaks for itself, as well as our last free agent acquisition. 36 year old Thomas Davis... Ummm ok... But he doesn't have problems bringing in FA. When TT wants someone, he gets them. The problem is that his mid tier signings have been better than his big signings. Guys like Woodhead and Hayward have helped us more than guys like Travis Benjamin and Orlando Franklin. He's especially good at getting those late cuts like Slauson, Flowers, and Boston for a year. As for Bosa, it's been the only major blip because it was a unique situation at the time. Now it seems to be more common i.e. his brother with the Niners, Roquan Smith with the Bears last year etc.

Anthony Lynn on players getting a jolt from the OC coaching change: "It’s cool that they feel that way, but like I told them, that’s my failure. Whenever I have to fire someone, I think it’s my failure. It’s not them."

This is my 2 cents; if Lynn wants to run I feel that Ekeler should be the 3rd down back ala Sproles/Woodhead and JJ should be the starter rotating series with MG. I am mad at MG as well but the dude has talent as seen last year. JJ actually has more career big 10 rushing yards than MG does. I like the way he hits the hole than jukes instead of the other way around. Am I the only one who feels this way? JJ 1a MG 1b EK 3rd down? (EK will probably see more snaps than either of them this way) If we don't block it won't matter if Jim Brown is 1a annnnnd we are back to how solid that OL group is.
