This is what I can see happening next year. Lynn will be back but Rivers and Gordon will both be allowed to walk. I can see us drafting Tua Tagovailoa and have him spend most if not the entire year on the PUP list (red shirt)and learn behind Tyrod who will be the starter with Stick as backup. The money saved from Rivers & Gordon will be used to get at least 1 free agent Tackle as well as locking up Bosa.

I don't want Rivers, see no reason to expect a Mahomes clone. I would like to draft a young QB who enjoys the game & does not get rattled under pressure. We can work with a QB who isn't screwing things up. Put a quality run blocking OL on the field, run the effin' ball and let the kid make the easy plays that a dominant run game opens up. Meanwhile, if the D is hitting on all cylinders and STs are decent, we don't need a wild ass scoring offense to be a playoff contender. We just need an O that plays with some composure, doesn't get themselves in trouble.
Your frustrations are causing you to no think clearly. The belief that all this is on Rivers, so get rid of him and find a new QB, and all will be great......ridiculous. Fix that crappy OL group and all will be better......not great, better. Rivers needs to be brought back in line, and if he refuses to conform, bye bye.....hello QB hell. We’ve been in QB hell all year long. We’re 5-9 and near the league leaders in TO’s

You don't have to hit. I think Goff is pretty bad and Wentz isn't very good. Dak is fine. I would have taken prime Rivers over any of them. But they were cheap and allowed their teams to surround them with incredible talent. How many years does Rivers have left? We have to get a new QB at some point very soon. Might as well do it while we still have talent to surround him instead of having to get a QB and surround him with talent. We've had Brees and Rivers for basically the last 20 years and haven't sniffed the Superbowl. A franchise QB is great. But obviously it's not enough. I trust this front office to draft a franchise QB more I trust Rivers to win a Superbowl going forward.
I'll also add that Trubisky sucks and they won the division last year. He might be there worst QB in the league. Since I have not picked a position yet it allows me to examine both sides. That is a great line up there and thank you for posting your opinion. No one has to be right to have a great take.

I'm going to try and get in the minds of the office and Rivers here. Its very tricky, but I'll give it a shot:
Before this season TT told Rivers we will extend you after the season. He had a great 2018. Rivers said no problem at all. Then, he decided to go Pick Master Paul on the season. Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, yeah, about that extension............
For me, and only me, I am the only person on earth that has seen this BTW, Rivers HATES competition behind him. No I don't mean all QB's hate it, I mean he double down HATES it. That is why before Taylor, our back ups have sucked. (please send my check for services for this kind of insight)
Things just got real different, and Rivers knows it too.
We COULD do both. Sign Rivers AND draft his replacement. It used to be the norm, but it isn't anymore. Wonder if Rivers would do a one year contract.....................

This one is a bit out there, but lets play along. PR stood 2 yr behind Brees. Brees lite it up after in response. So that would be a good thing. Genius really. I see it, but alast the bolt leadership didn't. Perhaps they'll read our post and realize just how brilliant we are. On the otherhand if TT was the one to apply pressure... well PR did just the opposite of Brees. All the more reason to cut the cord for good. If PR was dictating what type of QB the bolts drafted, they are the worst ever.

I think this will be one of the more interesting off seasons we've had since moving to LA. PR's contract, Bosa's contract, the draft, moving into a new stadium... I expect alot of drama.

You are the only person on earth that has seen this. You don't follow him do you ? The best example was the great and grand Geno Smith. Geno would try to talk to him on the sideline and Rivers would just keep going. Lucky he didn't spit on him I guess. Why has our back ups sucked? Why why why ? I know why.

Year 4 in the 5 year rookie deal is extension time for stars.
Sorry, you don't get to pull the Gordon stuff on Joey Bosa. Not happening. Made the Pro Bowl and currently has 10.5 sacks. He's coming, and his agent is coming with him. Knock knock. Is this where we park the Armored Truck at ?

1. Limit Freak to 300 posts a week. 2. Try to enlarge our community, hope with the move to new stadium more fans will call in.
