He tried in 1st 3 rounds with Fluker, Watt, Tuerk, Lamp, Feeney & Pipkins. His misses are not a good reason to stop trying to build OL. I see it as a coin flip. There will be a lot of quality talent we could use at #38. Choice may depend on FA activity. No one, and that includes TT, is not aware that OL needs added talent. that OL needs added talent....THE MOST. that is another reason, I do not draft a QB with the first pick. Heck there is even a few star DL too yep

People ask why can't we ever beat the Pats? Think about it - have you ever seen a Bolts - Pats game where we won at the line of scrimmage on either side? Maybe the game where McCree fumbled the win away but all the rest of the years their lines are better than ours. We often have more great players in the skill positions but we can't win when our lines are inferior. That's the same reason we can't beat KC. When will our team leaders realize it? When will the people that post in here realize it. It seems so obvious to me.I hear you Roo. Your pleads have not gone unanswered. More people are on the lines conversation than ever before. So you should be happy about that. I believe TT even knows he has to do something. He was wrong to bury his head in the sand and smugly think "eh, its good enough." No it isn't, and he is painfully aware. I think it would be big league Pro if he admitted it. But he won't.

To admit such a thing would almost require throwing more than one player under the proverbial bus, and that is never good form.

He could keep it vague and about himself-------"I haven't done a very good job helping the Oline. I'm refocusing to improve myself there for 2020. Blah blah blooey."
"I don't need Rivers crying on the podium just because I am on the phone with Tom Brady. The Fight for LA means Tom Terrific for marketing purposes and to put us on the media map. PrimeTime games, etc. Blah blah blooey Part 2, etc etc blah blaa black sheep have you any wool."

Good call. Brady to the Bolts is a ticket seller. I'm sure folks will say you are trading a 38 year old for a 43!!!!

WR talent is pretty outrageous too! QB Burrow, DE Young, CB Okudah very likely go in top 5. 6 will have a load of talented choices. I'm thinking QB based on long term need, #1 most importamt position value, potential immediate reward. I do not disagree with OL need but could be happy with a great LG at 38 & a good FA RT. As for QB I'd actually rather draft 2 later rounders then go 1st round and hope my 50% or less success at landing a future franchiser. This year would not be the year to do that, but I seriously would consider it if I had no one I could look to. This year, I'm drafting another QB but not until rounds 2-4 depending on how FA went. That's the approach TT has used on OL. Five 2-3 picks, 3 clear misses, 2 meh. Hopefully he's a better judge of QB talent.

Before "Suck for Luck" remember who the Colts drafted?? Curtis Painter...

Or TT resigns Rivers, signs an OT and OG in FA, then takes an OT @ #6, and gets an OC in the 2nd rd......then all he needs to hope for is the electricity getting the Lamp lit up.
