The lack of a Super Bowl Championship spans all of the QB's to have played for the Bolts, does it not? (of course I mean while playing for the Bolts) Rivers plays each and every game because he is your best option at QB. Failing to win a championship goes far beyond a single player. It's always about the team. Rivers is a key component. It's hard to win when he is making critical mistakes. How many playoffs has Philip competed in and now many ended with a SB ring? Currently the Chargers need to explore potential alternatives for 2020. Making critical mistakes has a tendency to make winning less likely regardless of which player is making said mistakes. We all recall a certain safety making a critical error after an interception.....bla bla bla It was Rivers' fault.

We are currently picking 10th, and I did not know we were that high. I was shocked. If we lose the rest, you will get your shot at Top 5. That is a INTRIGUING situation. I don't think we have a choice but to draft our future QB. Either there, or move up to get him. I have been saying not yet not yet. But Top 5 changes my dynamic. I would support pulling the trigger. Only if the QB you like is there...... If you need a QB, you have to draft one. If any are rated in the 1st, I do not see how you can pass him up, even if he is not your favorite. Granted if they are not 1st rounders, then you go BPA or PON somewhere else in the first. Then again, the QB evaluation system in the NFL is at best a crap shoot.

Apathy has set in. Winning is nice but losing doesn’t matter.
Rivers says the team let the season slip through their fingers and they know they have the talent to compete and be a playoff team.
Desmond King in the doghouse this week. Ruled inactive for non football reasons. Everybody’s playing for pride and their jobs now. Pressure’s off

Herbert QB Humphrey OC Quarterman ILB Lynch DL5T Harris OC/OG Lewis OG Charles OT My thought was OT's in FA, or keep Okung. I am walking from Pouncy unless he takes a pay cut. It is early......there will be plenty of shifting on the bigboards out there.
