Unfortunately, some people misuse the position of a mod. Its always the mods fault. Good grief. Please note the word "some". As the first mod at CMB, I'd be the last to think all mods misuse the position. In the case of Kemp - he was a good member, his posts were filled with solid football takes but one mod had it in for him and bird-dogged him enough that he finally left the forum. Many of us miss his takes.

When Roo is destroying you guys, it just feels hollow if I do the same. At the same time. I'll just have to wait for my timing I suppose. Timing is important for all good comedians. One day you'll meet it. Pffft. That's like telling me one day I'll be the Favorite. Just don't see it happening. Especially when we have a great one now..................

I have had Mods absolutely out for my head on a silver platter, but I didn't quit over it. Then again, can you really blame them ? Don't answer that.

Somebody must have contact info for Kemp, perhaps they could reach out to him, coaxing a return.....

WoodMod....the silent Mod.Just for the frozen one - Looks like Forest is doing well - look at the answer from TT;
Q: Couple years ago, you drafted Forest Lamp in an early round as a guard. Two years after injury, where do you see him playing and what is his current positional outlook for 2019? Is he (a) possible starting guard or is he competing for right tackle? – Brian Czerniecki, Tampa
Telesco: It wouldn’t be a mailbag without a Forrest Lamp question, right? You will be happy to know that he has looked great in the offseason program. I am very pleased with where he is right now. And he handled last year like a pro because I know it was not easy on him. He wants to play and contribute. We will see how things play out in training camp, but I suspect you will be seeing a lot more of Forrest. There’s going to be a spirited competition in camp, and it will make our OL better as a whole.

You know, that kind of ticks me off right there. YOU are the GM. YOU agreed to mailbag questions. YOU don't need to get smart with a fan. YOU should be glad it wasn't a DJ Fluker 1st Round question. YOU spent a second round pick on Lamp. He's been hurt ever since. YOU are gonna hear about it, like it or not. Comes with the job. No one is detracting from the great job you have done building our team. Its one player, people have interest, and you are going to answer for it. Don't even get me started for the new year................................

The only part of his answer that amounts to more than cheerleading...... "We will see how things play out in training camp"

Yet it does illustrate how GM's need to be cautious in their public comments.
