You know, that kind of ticks me off right there. YOU are the GM. YOU agreed to mailbag questions. YOU don't need to get smart with a fan. YOU should be glad it wasn't a DJ Fluker 1st Round question. YOU spent a second round pick on Lamp. He's been hurt ever since. YOU are gonna hear about it, like it or not. Comes with the job. No one is detracting from the great job you have done building our team. Its one player, people have interest, and you are going to answer for it. Don't even get me started for the new year................................ Meh. I think that comment was all meant in humor...to a reporter. Manti Teo says hi.
See. I can do humor too !

Lamp out for the season with a broken ankle.
He's an injury bust. No other way to view it. Verrett actually played much more than Lamp has. Sad.

TT's list of failures keeps growing. People were so high on this kid too.

He picked em he's responsible for how he turns out.Besides most folks are way more focused on his complete and utter failure at building any semblance of an o line or d line which in turn is one of the key factors of this team's...well failure.Tommyjohn will hopefully be an ugly memory before too much longer.Get a Q.B.,build the trenches, work outward from there.K.I.S.S.

Right......and there was so much complaining going on about that pick, as clearly everyone but that idiot GM knew Lamp would be an injury bust pick.

I don't even want the starters back because they will get hurt/re-hurt/re re whatever. I don't want it to impact next year.
Now that's pretty damn sad.

I do not work in the FO, I work for the owner. It is ridiculous to hold a GM accountable when utilizing hindsight. Not a chance anyone predicted Lamp as an injury bust pick.

Does every other NFL team have a medical device that evaluates the density of bones or the strength of ligaments? For some reason we dropping like flies out here, next thing you know we’ll see the water boys playing in our OLINE

Most organizations will hold a GM accountable by evaluating their past performance? Isn't that hindsight? How else can you do it without looking back? I think we are talking apples and oranges. I cannot "fault" TT for lamp being a busted pick due to injury, but he is responsible for it as a failed pick. That is different than say; we can fault him for picking Benjiman for example. He judged his talent level wrong. That type of fault istwhat I think people assume for lamp. But that would be wrong. That is one kind of fault, different than saying its TT's "fault" for drafting lamp. To it would be better said, TT's is responsible for the Lamp pick that failed to deliver. So yes people use the word "fault" but what we mean by it here is different.
