I like Bridgewater. Should you ? Click on the message to get the whole thing. That's our QB That's what I'm talkin' bout too. You have to love the guy. The BEST fan comment I read was (paraphrasing) "I'm a Vikings fan. I have been a fan of Bridgewater since he was at Minnesota. I would be a fan of Bridgewater if he went to Green Bay." I was like WHOA. That's getting it done there.

Once again it seems the Spanos klan is doing everything that they can to kill my remaining love for the Chargers. I don't know how much more I can stomach. I came to terms with Seau's exit, LT's exit, stealing of the team from SD, but kicking #17 to the curb in exchange (potentially) for #12 would be beyond despicable. Look, I don't hate Brady as a person and this is not about him. It's about making uncouth choices and how you ultimately treat people (hardworking players & loyal fans). I get the excuse is always, "it's a business", but where does it end. Perhaps it's time for me to "mutually part ways". Wishing Rivers and his family all the best. Thank you for creating some great memories. Your #1 Fan. Hang in there BleuMoon. The moon always changes from blue, you just have to give it time. Tough times don't last. Tough people do. I have had to talk my son off the ledge this week. (hate you for that Spanos'). The nicest thing he said was "we are cooked for 5 years". This IS fixable. Trust me. They have about 3-4 months to do it too. Well, ok 2 months really. Its time to show us Org. You got to something, baby.
You felt it was in our best interest to walk away from our franchise QB. Well, you damn sure better do something about it.

I get this feeling that the entire 'walk away from Rivers' is all about control. Clearly ownership, and FO, took the HC side, which is the expected decision. The ramifications are obvious, as QB hell is here currently. Is Bridgewater a franchise QB ? If you say yes, then go after him in FA......but if you say no, then might as well go with Taylor. Regardless of any QB solution, the Bolts are not close to being a Super Bowl caliber club, as there are far too many issues needing to be resolved.

I still say Rivers went gunslinger crazy. Lynn told him to stop, and Rivers told him no. At Rivers own press conf. he stated "I don't care if I have 4 INT's in the game, I'm still going to throw it up." I further believe they contacted him with "Do you promise to stop going gunslinger time and listen to your coach ?" His answer was no, and that was the end of that. I know my theory is a little crazy. But I patch worked pieces of info. in order to get there.

The Saints are probably THREE deep with starting QB's !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Their depth chart was Brees, Bridgewater, and Taysom Hill !!! That's a hell of a 3 deep QB squad ! Hill was just asked this week if he felt he was starter ready for NO, and he told him yes he was ready to go !! That's a nice spot for a team to be in. But something will break this free agency period. NO wants Brees back, which would put Bridgewater on the market. If Brees retires, then NO will pursue Bridgewater. Taysom Hill is a restricted free agent. So he may hit the open market regardless. Keep an eye on Saints news. 3 QB's might get CRAZY action there.

Andy Dalton anyone? Bengals are looking to trade him. It would be fun. Fight to get to the playoffs and then just shoot yourself on gameday. Because you are instantly done. #CaptainOneandDone

I know my theory is a little crazy. But I patch worked pieces of info. in order to get there. I actually agree with you 100%. There was something off about this team. It was built to operate like the Niners. Stout defense ball control offense. I believe Philip went off script. I think he wanted to play his style of offense. Whisenhunt might have been collateral damage. There was something askew about this team and a philosophical disagreement between the organization and their HoF QB is the only thing that makes sense. That was cemented when Lynn was extended and Rivers packed up and moved ten minutes after the season was over. I think TT and Lynn still believe they have a team that can win with a competent QB who knows he doesn’t have to put the team on his back to win. One other telling note was that before this season Rivers always took the blame for losses even when he was the best player on the field. This season, even after some of the worst games of his career his attitude was more “I’m going to do what I’m going to do”.
