I honestly think any free agent QB is a pipe dream... Newton, Bridgewater, or Brady. Its been implied already that Tyrod is the guy, its going to be a 1st or 2nd round rookie or nothing. Its either me or Freak, we'll see who is right! I keep seeing the misnomer that Cam Newton is a free agent. He is not. You're correct, he is "likely" trade material right now.

It is not the GM that has the fear, rather the prospective FA QB..... He didn't have any fear either. FA has not been reached just yet, so difficult to be using the past tense, eh? I would find it difficult to believe that when FA starts, the potential QB's won't be considering the poor OL group before signing with the Bolts.

Looking forward to seeing how Teddy Bridgewater does next season on the Chargers You want another reason to sign him ? I hear Belichick is sniffing up and down on Bridgewater. They have a late round first pick. So he would want to go FA. Still a young pup in his mid-20s. Outstanding kid with a first-round pedigree and abundant upside. Protects the football. We have many posters on here that made sense (which was a nice surprise for me to hear.......). They said "We like Bridgewater. But we don't want to break the bank signing him." I have no idea what he could go for. I'm hearing not as much as I had feared. Of course you have to factor in QB's get big money, and the cap is going up too. That’s the Larry English justification. If Belichick wants him Teddy would be insane to come to the Chargers

Its either me or Freak, we'll see who is right! This whole post is completely wrong. I am stating that they are attempting something other than Tyrod for a franchise QB. FA QB, or an early draft pick. I'm not just saying FA. I can go as far as saying 1st round if you want. Because planning our future around this years 28th-38th pick is just craziness.

True. Use the #6 pick on OT. A #6 OT doesn’t fix the coaching staff. Drafting a HC in the first round, and a GM in the second round is Approved !

Things are so hot leading into this years Free Agency Period, I wouldn't say "no way" to any QB news you hear for the Chargers. To their credit, (Telesco is secretly crapping himself.) they ARE shaking the leaves out of the trees in their search for a QB. You are around a Front Office. Picture this for me: Tom Telesco just told our 16 year Franchise QB "We wish you the best of luck. Goodbye." and hung the phone up in his ear. Ownership wants Choirboys. You just fired the father of 9, Pro Bowler, HOF candidate, and lead choir singer of the hit song "Aw Shucks". You don't think that raised some eyebrows ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Its my Birthday, so lets keep it rolling. Its hotter than hell on a Holiday for Tom Telesco right now. Literally, his legacy is on the line right now. You fired Philip Freaking Rivers, and there are actually people on the forum telling me Tom Telesco's career-on-the-line is then going to turn to Tyrod Taylor as the solution to that ?!?!?!?!?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I mean, its better than any funny joke post I have ever made up in my life, and ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE !!!!!!!! THEN, they are conducting college scouting techniques on Draft QB's, WHILE they are contacting everyone from Tom Brady to Los Angeles High School quarterbacks, and people are STILL saying Tyrod is the answer ?!?!??! LETS GET FREAKING REAL HERE FOLKS. You don't have to believe me on day one when I forecasted all of this. BUT CAN YOU AT LEAST BELIEVE ME WHEN THEY ARE PULLING UP INTO THE DRIVEWAY OF TEDDY FREAKIN' BRIDGEWATER'S HOUSE ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! One closing item for you. No one believes Tyrod Taylor is winning a super bowl. You want the worst of that ? THE FREAKING PLAYERS KNOW HE'S NOT IT ! You cannot have that, and expect winning success.

There was no need this early, from the FO view, to say anything (or decide anything) about Rivers' future with the club. So why was there any statement from TT ? I suspect that the decision actually came from Rivers' side, and really early on, with the statement from the club all about getting in front of perception on the parting between club and player. I do believe the club has no idea who will be the starting QB next season. Trading for Mahomes is the dream, ending up with Stick the nightmare, and everything in between a possibility. So stop looking at it from the club's view, and look at it from the players' view. The Bolts can offer some positives, but they also come with a bunch of negatives. It will be an interesting process to watch from afar..... Happy BD....

Happy Birthday Freak!!!! Have a great day.
The players may not believe in TT but Anthony — I’ll take Koo over Lambo — Lynn May believe in him and that’s why I’m worried. He drove out Philip Rivers which Telescope just a year ago said would never happen. Rivers will retire as a bolt blah blah blah. You think Lynn doesn’t have a grip on TT’s short and curlies, make a birthday wish.
