He drove out Philip Rivers which Telescope just a year ago said would never happen. Rivers will retire as a bolt blah blah blah. You think Lynn doesn’t have a grip on TT’s short and curlies, make a birthday wish. FO blunders.....bad TT. Ownership blunders.....bad Spanos. Somebody really connected to the Brady situation is saying the favorite right now is Tennessee Titans. Like the Chargers, the Titans are also on that list of "Never won a Super Bowl". I'll say it again, the pitch of being the guy who brought a franchise their "FIRST" Super Bowl ring is playing in Brady's mind. The Bengals, Bills, Browns, Cardinals, Chargers, Falcons, Jaguars, Lions, Panthers, Texans, Titans and Vikings have not won a Super Bowl in their history. If we take a closer look, the Bengals are drafting their future QB with the #1 pick in this year's draft. The Bills, Browns, Cardinals, Falcons, Texans and Vikings all already have QBs. That leaves the Chargers, Jaguars, Lions, Panthers, Titans looking to land Brady. Here's how I see the list: 1. Titans - ties to head coach, good defense, stud RB, good line for protection, could lose the locker room kicking Tannehill to the curb, very good fan support in person. 2. Chargers - good defense, weapons on offense, line is suspect, shinny new stadium but highly lacking fan support in person. 3. Jaguars - good defense, need help on offense, not sure if they have the cap space. 4. Panthers - aggressive new owner who may throw lots of cash at Brady, stud RB, need help in lots of other areas. 5. Lions - ties to head coach, need help everywhere. 6. **Raiders - wild card just because it's Vegas Baby!!! 7. **Patriots - you can never count them out. Oh...and Happy Day of Birth Freak. As self-appointed Emperor, today you can officially use the line "Let them eat cake".

Things are so hot leading into this years Free Agency Period, I wouldn't say "no way" to any QB news you hear for the Chargers. To their credit, (Telesco is secretly crapping himself.) they ARE shaking the leaves out of the trees in their search for a QB. You are around a Front Office. Picture this for me: Tom Telesco just told our 16 year Franchise QB "We wish you the best of luck. Goodbye." and hung the phone up in his ear. Ownership wants Choirboys. You just fired the father of 9, Pro Bowler, HOF candidate, and lead choir singer of the hit song "Aw Shucks". You don't think that raised some eyebrows ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Its my Birthday, so lets keep it rolling. Its hotter than hell on a Holiday for Tom Telesco right now. Literally, his legacy is on the line right now. You fired Philip Freaking Rivers, and there are actually people on the forum telling me Tom Telesco's career-on-the-line is then going to turn to Tyrod Taylor as the solution to that ?!?!?!?!?! There was no need this early, from the FO view, to say anything (or decide anything) about Rivers' future with the club. So why was there any statement from TT ? I suspect that the decision actually came from Rivers' side, and really early on, with the statement from the club all about getting in front of perception on the parting between club and player. I do believe the club has no idea who will be the starting QB next season. Trading for Mahomes is the dream, ending up with Stick the nightmare, and everything in between a possibility. So stop looking at it from the club's view, and look at it from the players' view. The Bolts can offer some positives, but they also come with a bunch of negatives. It will be an interesting process to watch from afar..... Happy BD.... I thank you for the Happy BD. The Chargers did the Rivers thing for two reasons. They can look like the good guys and say "We wanted Rivers to have an early chance in Free Agency. We owe him that much. Blah blah blooey." They do it so THEY can get in early on the FA vetting of QB situations. I fear you are correct that Rivers was done with the BS.
