I was thinking Cam might end up in New England. But after Dalton was cut this morning, would BB prefer the Red Rifle over Cam? And would he be cheaper? Actually Black Rifle Coffee Co is pretty good. Do they have the Green Beans Coffee place over there? I remember the one in Iraq and signing up for their free coffee program... One time alot of people on the base (myself included) got a free coffee from Holly Holm (UFC). It was kinda awesome, and nice getting that email saying someone bought you a coffee.

To be fair, every year there is some lowly regarded player that shows in a big way. Brady is just the classic, and extreme, example. Or overlooked. There are tons of gems that have been missed for a variety of reasons. Just understand that the scouts do a good, not perfect job of high-grading the raw material and that as the draft/UDFA goes on, you're sifting through their leavings. Most of the best are found early but that's no reason to quit looking. The Chargers have done well in that regard. Scouts do a great job! I firmly believe that there are far more instances where the coaching staff simply did not give a guy a honest look due to draft round, or not being drafted at all. Most of these guys have a legitimate reason for where they are, or are not, but some just need that window of opportunity to crack open a tiny bit.

I hate to encourage you guys, because I have already explained the long odds against this stuff and GM's like "sure" things. BUT our best example has to be Austin Ekeler. I don't know what the hell scouts missed that THAT guy ended up a UDFA. Whew !!!!!!!!!!!!

speaking of drafts. What are your thoughts on GB drafting Love. In fact they moved up to get him, I think.
I think GB see's Rodgers as an injury risk and not long on years left. It could be a power struggle. In the NBA, players get coaches fired real easy. they have a lot of power. In the NFL, not so much. But I think there are at times conflicts where a player believes they are more important than the coach or FO when is comes to success, rears it head. I think PR was that. Rodgers could be in the same boat.

Makes you think twice about Mike McCarthy and why he was let go...

He isn't loved like Farve was is he? I don't think so. GB fans probably wouldn't boo like they did farve
